The worth of a soul

What is a soul worth, When you look at eternity?

Is it worth a couple traveling 10,000 miles?
20 + hours on an airplane?
So that the grandmother of the wife....
One person....
Can hear the gospel....
And receive Eternal Life?

Is it worth a couple going through a life of struggle.....
And Heartache....
Raising a child of special needs....
So that maybe one person would see....
Just one person....
See the faith that's real...
In that couple through their struggles....
And receive Eternal Life?

Is it worth the Father giving His Son...
His only Son....
What if one person....
Only one person....
Received Eternal Life...
Because of what God's Son did on that cross...
Dying on the cross...
Would God the Father....
And Jesus His Son....
Say that it's worth it?

What if that one person is you?
What is the worth of a soul...
When compared to Eternity....
Heaven or Hell?

Jesus explains that the soul is more valuable than any worldly possessions.

What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:26).
e answered: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' (Luke 10:27).

What is the soul? The soul is the inner being of man; his true self. The Greek word for soul, psyche, indicates personality or of the mind. The enemy desires to damn the souls of men, but God desires to save the souls of men.

Thank you Don for your words for they touch the soul of men and that wonderful picture of Joshua.

Very touching and true Don. I thank God for you and Cathy and for your faith, and how with all of the challenges you already face, you still take the time to reach out and minister to others, you are both such amazing blessings to everyone around you.
