Praise Report

First off thank each of you that keep me and my family in prayer. I have been endeavoring to go out & share the Love and the Word of God with the homeless. If you ask me I would have said that I'm not being effective at all, personally I would rather be at home watching WWE on Monday night. But tonight after we got back and i was kind of tired from having spoken to those homeless that were present and having been  dinner for ever blood sucking mosquito in the county. I was ready to just go in the house . I got a call on my cell from one of the Women whom is know as Mom D she been homeless for over 14 years living in the woods and a guy name Willie who got out of prison and went to a Christian halfway home that ran out of funding so he was forced out onto the streets. Mom D is about 45 to 50 and is 4 months pregnant from a rape that occured in the woods that she was living in. My lovely wife and I and my brother Don and his wife Kathy and Joshua had gone out there last Saturday to speak with them. After my wife brought her information about how to get help to get out of the woods and assistance for her and the baby, Mom D didn't seem to take to it. She cried as I shared the gospel with her and I told her that this was not God's plan for her life, that God was able to forgive her but she must forgive herself for her mistakes. For we all have made mistakes, that a Saint is simple a sinner who fell but got back up.  So then I preached to them that Monday about getting back up, This Monday I got a call informing me that she had indeed got back up, she and Willie were no longer living on the streets that as we spoke she was moving into a place, that Willie  now had a one bedroom of his own.

I cried cause I knew that God had prove to them the word I spoke to them a week before, now Willie and Mom D can say that they now know the Word of God is true because as it was spoke it happened.

So praise God, Brothers and sister, its time we step outside of our comfort zone and get it done. For the fields are ready for harvest but the workers are few.  The great commission was not just for Ministers ,Pastors, Reverends, Preachers or Evangelist  but each of us are to share the gospel with all that we meet. We are to go out to them .  Maybe your minister field is your work place, it could be your school, your home, family, friends, your neighborhood, or even brothers or sisters at your church.

Keep me in prayer that I will continue to step out on faith and do  what the Lord God is calling me to do

Your a very strange guy Dr. H, but I must admit words are different and your method is right in your face. I want to know why don't more Pastors speak like you? Sounds like others are discovering that you are the man you say you are. I still don't believe in God not he God you speak of cause I have seen to many of your people and the hurt and lies they cause all in the name of your God. I did read your email about Why God allows bad things to happen to good people. So I get that God did not bring sin into the world but we did, yet your christian brothers don't seem to be any better than us in fact worse. My new cubic mate goes to the strip club and always talking about sex with other females. He claims his wife does not have enough of a sex drive for his needs. I thought you guys were supposing to live for God isn't that what you always say to me??? Grant you did something good great for them, but how long are you going to keep going out there? hmm a couple weeks a month or so, your just a man and you can not change the world. Nor people even this lady will more than likely end up back on the streets.

You can't change people Dr. H, my father became an alcohol from Music Director in the church to a street bum, where was your God? These people are on the streets because your God and your christian brothers were to busy shining there halo's

David your words are those of a man whose plight is tragic but that is the reality of this world we live in. No one gets a rose garden. While it is evident to all that read your correspondence that you find the church and all its theology loathsome. You’re not the first to have great issue with the church and it practices of demigod worship instead of the divine worship of God. So Martin Luther, Christ and you all share in your concerns with the image of the church and its people. Sadly yes many among them contradict the true word of God.
But what I cannot accept nor will I condone is belittling of God’s work. I do not seek the approval of men I shared the story to encourage others to step out on faith one thing I do know that God gave Mom D and Willie a place to reside in, whether they will remain there or not I'm not a soothsayer. What I do know is my God is able to do all things. Lastly David I do not care if anyone else goes out to speak to the homeless or not, I have to go out and share the gospel with these people. For if I do not tell them about Christ, will you go out there and tell them? I'm sorry David I can't hear you?
You have me disconcerted with some mild age white male whose endeavoring to appease a congregation. David my job is to endeavor to do the will of the Lord. Daily I strive and most days I’m inadequate at best, yet I must be about my Father's business. Deliberate over what happen but bottom line save your pessimism for someone who cares. Yes we have sinners in church so David that means there’s room for you at the table.
David I'm not lacking in prudence, I've no aspiration of altering anyone’s ideology. That is what God does; I'm simply a messenger that he uses at times. I've been working with Mom D now for about 6 months and God not I did this.

I labored greatly over speaking to you concerning this issue, while I wish you no ill will but I do beseech you to consider the Love of God. Not the utterances of men but seek him and discover true unconditional love. Then and only then can you remove the blinders affixed to your eyes by this society that established what credence is today and what is no longer considered the norm. God does not alter his words are the same today and yesterday and forever.

Dr.H I had to find a dictionary to be certainly exactly it was your were saying. Apparently my word offend your Christian belief, I'm sorry you prefer to be called a believer. Anyway apparently your not the wimp I thought you were. My point was simple you might be all in for helping the homeless but can you say that for those around you? Apparently you even admit that can't say that anyone but yourself will continually go down and help them. But in reality based off your words not even you can help them until God decides that correct?

Lastly I'm not a scholar, so please keep it simple.
