"Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to thy mercy: That they may know that this is thy hand; that thou, LORD, hast done it" (Psalm 109:26-27). David cries out to God in his time of need.
Do you ever feel like, that when you cry out to God that he does not hear you? Ever feel like your all alone that God is not there ? Ever say is why is that God answers everyone else prayers but mine?  What if I told that sometimes the answer is no, that God the Father did answer you but his answer was no, not now, not ever, no it would only cause you more pain, no it push you further away from me.  Perhaps your not buying on anything I"ve just said, after all there some among us seemly just have to ask and God open ups windows and doors and hatches in heavens to get them what they need right? Wrong.

And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done” (Luke 22:41-42). But the answer was no, Christ had to drink of the cup of sin, I'm told that he prayed so hard that blood dripped from his forehead. Christ did not want to endure what he knew was to come next, but he trusted and honored the father, what about you are you trusting the father? Or do you think he is a great big ATM machine in the sky just there to grant your every wish, just because you showed up at church on Sunday?

If you look in the book of John  chapter 11 here is proof that Jesus acknowledges that his Father always hears his prayers.  "And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me” (John 11:42). Image if you will for just a second being a parent who has always been proud of your child and rewarded them for their faithfulness with good things. This child has been nothing but a source of good news to good deeds been honorable to you in every manner and but your will before his own.  How do you say no to him in his hour of  greatest need? God said no to his only begotten son so that he could say Yes to, I will never leave you nor forsake you, I will be with you always, that you are redeemed by the blood of the lamb.

The wages of sin are what? Death, each of us  was a sinner long before we became saved, without Christ we were all doomed to hell for we were sinners and could not enter into heaven. So next time God does not answer your prayers when you want him to or how you want him to. Remember this, he has said no to even his only begotten son just to redeem you, he did not bring you this far to leave you, so trust in him  for he knows the desires of your heart and what good things he has planned for you.

Lord God I thank you, for I know we are your handy work and you have delight in hearing from your children but in our good times and bad times. I pray that we would not seek you out just in bad times but to send up praises daily for all that you do for us. Lord I ask you to fill the body with your spirit let them be over come with your grace and mercy and your perfect love that we might be focus on pleasing you than our flesh.  I pray that you would meet the needs of your people but that would be on bent knees in good times and bad sending up praises to heaven for you are worthy.
