So you're married and your Christian husband just isn't doing all that you think he should be doing.
He isn't leading your family spiritually. He isn't setting the right example for your kids.He doesn't seem to value his faith, especially in front of other people. So now what? How about this prayer, and begin to move in faith, that God will do what you are not able to do. Which is change your husband, nor should a Christian woman ever try, for that is God's job and he does not need any help doing his job. So leave your husband to God for only God can do that, but through prayer God can move mountains in your marriage.
"Thank You that my husband is slow to speak and swift to hear what You are saying to him concerning our marriage, our children, and our life. Give his heart the desire to teach our children to love You and Your Word. I pray he creates a desire in the hearts of our children to walk in Your ways. Keep him from those things that draw him away from You, things that produce death in families." James 1:19; Genesis 18:19; James 1:14
"Thank You that my husband keeps his life submitted to the Word of God and to prayer so he always has wisdom to lead our family. I pray he honors You for the hedge of protection You have placed around our lives." James 4:7; Job 1:10
Without prayer, we have no hope, but through prayer all things are possible. So sisters do not give up on your husband in fact give him over to the Lord. Stand in the gape and pray for him, pray the Lord's perfect will be done in his life. Not your will, not for him to be way you want him to be, but be the man that God has called him to be.
A man attempting to daily die to himself and become the true servant of the Lord and not his flesh.
