Many times Scripture compares this life to a battle, with the Christian a soldier warring against the foe. The well-loved hymn of the last century "Stand Up Oh Men of God for Christ our Lord and Savior"
"My son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. . . . Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ" (2 Timothy 2:1-3), Paul commanded his younger disciple. Among other things, a good soldier of Christ is to represent his leader well, seeing that no dishonor comes to Him or His banner. With Christ as Commander in Chief, the victory is assured, and one day God will "make thy foes thy footstool" (Acts 2:35). "God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (Philippians 2:9-11).Stand up, stand up for Jesus, Ye soldiers of the cross,

From victory unto victory, His army shall He lead,
Till every foe is vanquished And Christ is Lord indeed.
As David the great warrior-king lay dying, he exclaimed, "Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in heaven and earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all" (1 Chronicles 29:11). Dr.Henry, would please pray for me, I'm battle with pornography, my father and all the men in my family see it as normal behavior. But I know that if I want to be a true man God can not keep submitting to sexual sin. As you reminded me in our last conversation, I'm now married and must conduct myself as a Godly husband. I realize that you said when I find myself being drawn into the porno to call you or a brother to stand with you. I thank you because based on my family belief is that its just a part of being a man.
