1 JOHN 3:2

God asked Jacob to focus on who he was, on how he saw himself. Then God told him that was going to change. God created you. He knows what you can do. He knows what you can be. He has a great plan for you, starting now, but extending through all eternity. God wants you to begin seeing yourself according to His plan for you, in accordance with what He made you regardless of how bad your past may have been.
 You need to begin to see yourself now as a person in the family of God. You will never be the supreme
ruler of the Universe, but you are in His family.  What does it mean to be children of God? Should it not cause us to identify  ourselves with the Son of God? Should we not begin to see ourselves as part of the true royal family and which makes us princess and prince's? We ARE Now the  Children of God's ! That is your new identity. Quit seeing yourself as you used to be, see yourself as your heavenly father does you are a new creations the old man/woman was put to death and you were reborn in Christ when He rose we also rose from the grave with Him Quit judging yourself by your past shortcomings and failures. Look to your heavenly Father for your approval, not the world or any deeds that you might be able to perform.

 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is (1 John 3:2)/
