Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others (Philippians 2:3-4). For as you have done this to the least among us you have also done this unto the Lord God. In everything we do we are to do it to honor God and glorify God. Remember, we are not to do good deeds to earn our salvation, but because we want to reflect the love of Christ to all those we come into contact with. Remember Jesus made himself of no reputation and came instead into a world that hated him and suffered and died for an undeserving world. We must remember Jesus gave us a new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another (John 13:34). When was the last time you put the needs of your spouse, your children, your neighbor before yours? In doing so you honor God and show his love.
A man attempting to daily die to himself and become the true servant of the Lord and not his flesh.

Humility
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others (Philippians 2:3-4).
