To Least of these

The word of God tells me that one day we shall stand before Christ and he will say to the believer, I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in. I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?  When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?  Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’  And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, in as much as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ (Matthew 25:35-40)

While Christ wants us to be compassionate and caring to all people, this passage is primarily about how we treat those the world seems to think are the least, but whom Christ values as his disciples. The least, the last, and the left out become the primary ones who come to Christ and find life, love, and lasting hope. Christ' promise is that as we care for those in Christ' community, no matter their circumstance, we are caring for him. Cause each one of us are apart of the body, then If we are the Body,Why aren't His arms reaching? If we are the body? Why aren't these hands healing?  If we are the body? Why aren't His words teaching?  If we are the body? Then why are we not doing what Peter did ? Silver and gold I do not have but what I do have I give to thee.  Remember next time someone ask you for help, silver and gold you may not have but you can pray for them, you can offer to buy them a BigMac or lunch or dinner.  Though they might be the least as far as the world views them. In the eyes of God they are children, that he loves and desires to to see redeemed.  Yet we are the body how are reflecting that Love that God wants us to have for the world?  When we yet enemies to God and certainly as enemies we could have been considered the least but he loved us so much that he made us first. His first priority to redeem us to love us and let us know that he would not forsake nor leave us.  Isn't it time we return the favor to the world to show them the same unconditional love that Christ showed each of us???


"Then the king will answer, 'I tell you the truth. Anything you did for any of my people here, you also did for me.' " Do unto others as you would have them do unto you is certainly taken to another level with Matthew 25.  Life is not about you and I, but about how we can and should be a blessing to others. Pray tell how else is the world to come to the full knowledge of Christ unless we show it to them.  They full well have knowledge of pain and misery, for that is what the prince of this world offers to all.  But through you and I, they can experience Christ love, do not hide it or wait until someone loves you first or those that you feel have earned it. Because you and I were given a gift that we never earned or deserved and that was eternal life. give freely as it was given to you. Seek out the least among us and bless them, as Christ has blessed you. Tell them the good news, for its time they know that Christ loves them also.









 

Cancer is the best thing that happen to me

What would say if someone told you that Cancer was the best thing that ever happen to them? Because they discovered that they must fully lean upon the Lord and must trust him.

My Redeemer Lives

My redeemer lives, Matthew 28: (v 6)The followers of Christ are told he is no longer in the grave for he has risen. Redeemer is define as :  deliver: save from sins or restore the honor or worth of.  Christ did exactly that for you and I. We  are reminded in  Isaiah 64; that our righteousness was like filthy rags. Meaning we needed a redeemer, God choose his only begotten son to be that kinsman redeemer.

In 1st Peter chapter 1 we are informed as to how we were redeemed, knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers,  but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.  He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you and I. Again we needed him to set us free for we were bond by sin and enslaved to it.  Christ paid the ransom for us and set us free when he rose on that 1st day of the week we now know as Sunday we also rose with him.  He made us new creatures in Christ because of his ransom we are redeemed.

To redeem someone requires something valuable as a ransom. Silver and gold and precious metals and are valuable. However, we were redeemed with something even more valuable--the precious blood of Christ.  He is not just a redeemer; he is our kinsman redeemer. Christ agreed from the foundation of the world to be our redeemer (Revelation 13:8). He came down from heaven as the bread of life (John 6:35). He took on the life of the flesh and was tempted in all points even as we are, and yet did not sin (Hebrews 4:15). He is our elder brother (Hebrews 2:11).

Leviticus 25:47-49 gives us a better idea of what the Hebrew bible says  a redeemer is and does.

Colossians 2:13-14 shows how Christ paid our debt for sin when he was nailed to  to the cross, as payment for our sins.

"And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

"Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to the cross."

sIf the redeemer lives then does that not mean that the price was paid? You now have been made righteous before the Lord.

I'm Watching you Dad

Let us as men make sure we, realize that we are  to be a mirror for Christ's reflection to be shown, so that our sons and daughters can see Christ shining through us. Love them as God loves us. With an unconditional love, let them  see a true man of God. Let them know that you stand because God is holding you up, let them know that we are nothing without God.

Obama: America's Deadbeat Dad

Barack tells us he wants to engage in a “national conversation” on parenting, coming off the heels of Father’s Day. Okay, brother, let’s have it: You suck as a dad. Yea, yea, I know we’re told that you spend time with your daughters, Sasha and Malia – shooting hoops with them on weekends and arranging tween celebs such as the Jonas Brothers to make surprise appearances at the White House. And you even boast that your regime is implementing a new initiative “to re-engage absent fathers with their families.” Fine: We’ll give you a vintage copy of the Communist Manifesto for stating the obvious – that dads should take care of their children. But fathering goes much deeper than that.
Barack, you are America’s Deadbeat Dad: And here’s why:
It’s incumbent upon fathers to leave their kids with a better tomorrow, to ensure that their children’s lives are more prosperous and rewarding than their lives were. No loving parent would intentionally saddle his offspring with an anvil of debt and liabilities, splurging profligately for the pleasures of today at the expense of his family’s future wellbeing. But Barack, that’s exactly what you have done. Your administration has single-handedly set this nation on a course where, not only will Sasha and Malia be drowning in wealth-destroying debt, but every child of their generation as well. To be sure, you have spent wealth that hasn’t even been created yet. As Sen. Jim DeMint observers in an exclusive op-ed on the pages today’s HUMAN EVENTS, “The federal government will soon be paying more in interest on the national debt than we spend on national defense.”
But that matters not to you. Under your control, America continues to nosedive into the bottomless abyss of government spending. Currently, our national debt hovers at 93% of this country’s gross domestic product. In other words, we are only seven percentage points away from our entire economic output as a country being wiped out by the amount of money we owe—money that must largely be repaid to foreign and hostile governments, including China.

And yet, you, Barack, are pushing Congress to allocate another $50 billion to fund local bureaucracies and extend unemployment benefits, even though we are currently facing mind-blogging deficits in the trillions, each year, as far as the eye can see. Moreover, your political party has refused to pass a budget and has even indicated they will not do so, an abnegation of the most basic and rudimentary duty of governing.
Barack, what you’re doing to this country is child abuse. In warp speed, you’re institutionalizing a system in America where it is public policy for parents and grandparents to raid the wallets and purses of their children and children’s children.
Perhaps your economic illiteracy and leadership void are the result of your own daddy issues. It really is unfortunate that your father walked out on your mom. No one showed you manhood. No one taught you leadership.
Sen. DeMint is right when he says: “Surely, one of the world’s greatest debtors cannot remain the world’s greatest superpower for long.” Dear Leader Barack, if you truly cared about the world in which your daughters will grow up in, take the Senator’s advice and urge your colleagues to pass the Balanced Budget Amendment and restore fiscal sanity to this great land.

In times such as these, we need only to look at world history. The ancient civilizations of Persia and Greece come to mind. One might consider the history of the British or Roman Empires; Napoleonic France or Spain; also the dynasties of the Chinese and Japanese Emperors, along with the Egyptian Pharos, or the Mayans and Aztecs. All of these republics, empires and dynasties have fallen upon the dust heap of history. Do these once great societies have any meaning in our present day? Oh yes! Big time!

The study of these civilizations was the basis and foundation for our Constitutional Republic. Madison, Jefferson, Hamilton, Adams and all our founding fathers studied how these civilizations emerged, evolved and eventually failed. Our founders answered these rises and collapses of past civilizations with the Great American Experiment; The Constitution of the United States of America; our map for continuing success.

Our grand document is based on the creation, evolvement and failure of every civilization in history. It was conceived through the wisdom of all the grand thinkers in world history. (Thinkers and philosophers who knew that their history would be important to some future civilization and they were intelligent enough to write it down or carve it in stone) Our Constitution is a document written to preserve individual liberty and to organize a union of separate states, into a Federal Union; The United States of America.

Why do we now fail our Constitution? Why don’t we teach more of it in public and private schools? Why do politicians and judges say it’s outdated? The reality is that we are at the crossroads between the success or failure of our Constitutional Republic. This Great Document needs to be honored and cherished dearly.

Our Congress; the Senate and House of Representatives, is now failing us by passing legislation that they do not read before they vote on it’s passage. Our President is failing our country by signing this unread legislation into law. We might call this a failure of their Oath of Office. Or we might call it a failure of our national identity. Either way, we can not continue to exist as a nation under these failures in government.

Ancient Rome is a prime example. Senators of the Roman Republic sat in their Coliseum seats, along with the Roman Emperors. They watched as slaves fought gladiators and cheered for blood. They watched as Christians were eaten by lions while the minions screamed for more blood. Those Senators allowed the decline of the Roman Republic by their lack of concern, accession and decadence. Eventually, their appeasements to the Caesars contributed to the decline of the Republic and the Empire. All was lost as hoards of barbarians over-ran a militarily-over-extended, over-taxed, Roman Empire.

That barbarism was unmatched until the 20th century, when Marxist/Socialist/Communism overtook Russia and Eastern Europe, culminating in the deaths of 50 million human beings. All of them murdered and starved by a mentally ill, psychotic-paranoid, Joseph Stalin; along with his secret police.

Adolph Hitler murdered 6 million Jews. Joseph Stalin murdered 50 million of his own Soviet people. The German people were compliant with Hitler and the Soviets with Stalin. They followed those leaders to their graves. The Roman Senators were compliant with the Caesars. Rome fell, as all great civilizations did in time. None of those civilizations had a living Constitution: a map for success throughout the ages. Our nation has one and it’s high time our Congress and our President start abiding by it.

The failure to follow our Founding Fathers’ map has lead America down the wrong road; to the crossroads we find ourselves looking upon. A “fundamental change in America”, we do not need. What we do need, is to return to a “foundation based on our Constitution”. We should command the respect due to us and the Oath of Office, from all our elected officials in city, county, state and federal government. Only that respect to their Constitutional Oaths and to the People, will save this country from the dust heap of history. We, as a free Nation, still have the right to demand that of our elected representatives. This is the duty and the requirement of all citizens of a Constitutional Republic. Demand it! Vote for it! Make it known to all!

Proverbs 22:6

Love of a Father

The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand." (John 3:35)

 

The Gospel of John, in a special sense, emphasizes the love in the divine Trinity of the heavenly Father for the Son. The words "love" and "Father" and "Son" occur more in this book than in any other book of the Bible, and there are at least eight references to this love in John’s Gospel.

 

The first is in our text above, revealing that the Father has entrusted the care of the whole creation to the Son whom He loves. He has also shown Him everything in creation: "For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth" (John 5:20).

 

The Father also loved the Son because of His willingness to die for lost sinners. "Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again" (John 10:17).

 

Then in the upper room, as Christ prayed to His Father, it was revealed that this divine love had existed in eternity, and therefore must be both the root and the measure of all forms of true love ever since. "Father . . . thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world" (John 17:24). Parental love, marital love, filial love, love of country--all types of genuine love--are derived ultimately from this eternal love of the Father for the Son.

 

And it is this love that can also be in us, if we will have it. "As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you. . . . If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love" (John 15:9-10).

 

It was thus He prayed (and still prays) for us: "That the world may know that thou . . . hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. . . . And . . . that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them" (John 17:23, 26).

His Faithfulness

PSALM 27: 10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will
take care of me.

Normally, one's parents are among the ones who can be counted
on to help and love and support -- no matter what.

I recall reading that the mother of a convicted mass murderer
said he was still her son, and that she still loved him. That
is natural.

Yet, sometimes parents do forsake their children. But God's
love for you is more dependable than the love of a parent for
their child.

 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have
compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet
I will not forget you.(ISAIAH 49: 15)

Concerning earthly love, none is greater than that of a mother
for her baby. Yet even that can sometimes fail, in extreme
circumstances. But God's love for you is deeper, stronger, and
more sure.

People will fail you. You may even fail yourself. But God can
be trusted. He will never fail you. He will never give up on
you and never turn His back on you. He promised!

Does this mean God will always protect you from all
unpleasant things that life might bring your way? No. Not any more than a good earthly parent can
keep their child from every unpleasant experience.
We must grow up. We must learn to walk in faith and love, and
to overcome.
But God will be there to help you. And to make sure that
everything does work out for your good in the long run.
Trust in the Father God. He is more dependable than friends or
family, and He loves you more than anyone else ever will.
He is our true Father and to him I say Happy Father's day, everyday should be Father's day, for our heavenly Father is always there with us and always working things out to better us and draw us closer to him.

Happy Father's day to each of you that have been blessed with the task of being a Father to direct and correct and love and lead your sons and daughters to adulthood.

From Islam to Christ

Rebuke the devil and he will flee

Matthew 4:

Lucifer endeavors to temp Christ but fails.

¹⁰ Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you,Satan! For it is written,‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’”
¹¹ Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.


Christ show us through his encounter with Satan that we can Rebuke the devil and he will flee from us. But only when we do it in the Name and the authority of Jesus Christ.

We can see in James 4:7   That by us resisting the devil  he will flee from us. nothing in this phrase, indicates that he will not return. The word of God simply says  he will go away for a season, how long that season is apparently was not as important for us to know as it was for us to know that we can get him off our back for a moment. Defeating the devil doesn't start with a TV preacher rebuke or shouting out, "Satan I bind you in the Name of Jesus!!!" It takes more than  . It takes you standing upon the word of God, for Christ already told Peter in Matthew 16:19 whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.   So while the TV Evangelist shouts at the devil, it probably will have the same effect as if  Motley Crew themselves said it. The Bible makes this crystal clear in James, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." God gives us a strategy to stop the devil in his tracts. 

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 

Christ tells  us in Mark 11:23-24 to speak to the mountains in our lives and they will be removed if we but have the faith of a mustard seed. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.  Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Each encounter with devils or evil spirits, Christ through words he rebuke or cast them out.  So isn't it take we take that authority in which Christ has given us and kick the devil out. Stop giving him a foot hold in our lives, stop letting him give  us a black eye, and then we go running to Jesus crying saying the devil hit me.  Perhaps we accept we are in a battle and put on the full armor of the Lord each day when the devil comes up ready to battle us, we are dressed and ready to battle.  Are you dressed and armored with the tools the Lord has given you to fight the good fight???  

Do you know what it mean to rebuke Lucifier aka (the devil)?  The Greek word “epitimao” is used here.  It means to essentially to command a person or thing.  
Before you start trying to rebuke the devil you need to make sure that you are walking with he Lord your God.


 This I say to you is place the fear of God in your hearts and for you to realize  there is power in his name but again walking with the Lord is paramount.  Let us look at Acts 19:13-16
 The Seven sons of Sceva and a Jewish priest who were of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over one who had  evil spirits possessing, saying, “We command you in the name of Jesus the same Jesus that Paul is preaching ”  And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”  Then the man in whom the evil spirit was in leaped out of him and unto them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.  Okay now do you get the point, here we must full clothed in the word of God and be walking with him. For the devil knows the children of God and the authority we have in Christ, does he hope you are not aware of this fact, most certainly he does.  Once you use the authority in Christ  he will flee and never return right?  Yes he will flee but he will certainly return for we are in a battle daily against the evil one.

Oh Lord God, grant us the wisdom and the strength to stand boldly upon your word and in your name against the attacks of the evil one. Let us not fear for you are with us always. I ask you today Lord God to fill each us with your spirit and let us like Christ, know in whom we stand and let us not be afraid, for you are in us then who can be against us. Oh Lord God you know my brothers and sisters needs better than I can ever know them, I ask you to meet them on the battle field and let them know that you are right there with them.
