Luke 10:19

Many don't know it yet, but the New Testament reveals that God has given authority over the devil to all Christians. Therefore we have a responsibility to exercise that authority and stop the devil.  Have believers truly been given that responsibility? Or, should we look to God expecting Him to do it? Are we to wait on God to stop the devil's activities in our lives, or are we supposed to do something by using the authority Jesus gave us? One day I finally saw it. Romans 16:20 is not saying that God will do anything about the devil apart from you. God will work through you and satan will be crushed UNDER YOUR FEET. It will be your feet that do the crushing. The power working in you will be from God, but the feet will be yours. In other words, you must take action. You have to step out  and step on  the devil. Romans 16:20 seems to say God will stop the devil which would contradict all these other verses. But there is no contradiction when you realize it is God working through the believer to control the devil. In other words, the believer must control the devil, but the power to do it is of God. Believers must exercise their authority and resist the devil.

"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).

The Greek word translated as Advocate in this verse is parakletos. It means someone called to one's aid; someone who pleads another's cause before a judge; a counsel for defense, a legal assistant, an advocate, and a helper. Many people have never fully grasped that Jesus Christ is on our side. Just like a defense lawyer, He pleads our case. We should not sin, because sin is harmful to us and to others. But even if we do sin, Jesus Christ is still on our side. He is not accusing us, but defending us on the basis of His sacrifice at Calvary. The devil is the one who accuses us, who brings up all our sins and shortcomings, and tells us we don't deserve anything good.  Jesus is not the one who is trying to find us guilty. He remains our Savior!  Jesus not only paid the penalty for all our sins by shedding His own blood, but now He is our advocate pleading our case so that we might enjoy all the blessings He purchased for us regardless of our failures.  Jesus took our place, suffering what we deserve, so that we might receive, as a free gift which is grace and mercy.

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21).

God's Word,  teaches children to respect, honor, and obey their parents.  Only when we are children are we to OBEY our parents. But we should always HONOR our parents as long as we live. To honor primarily means to show respect and treat with special consideration.  Children should submit to their parents and show them respect. Even if your parents do not serve God, you still must respect and obey them. However, God does not expect you to obey them when they tell you to sin by doing wrong things. From the Old Testament we learn how serious it is for children not to submit to their parents. The punishment was very severe. In those days children who refused to submit to their parents were killed! We are not living under the Old Testament law, but it was written to teach us. It shows us what God thinks of rebellious children.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
"Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with promise:
"that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth." (Ephesians 6:1-3)

2 CORINTHIANS 6:16

If you have received Jesus, then Jesus lives in you. So wherever you go, Jesus goes. Just like the donkey in the verse above, you carry Jesus.  God is not living in a building on earth, but in people who
believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. When people need or want to find God, they should be able to come to you.  Paul, who wrote this, understood that he was a carrier. You need to understand that you are also a carrier of Jesus. Jesus did not die on the cross just to redeem Paul the apostle. You are saved just like Paul, with the same salvation and the same benefits for it was by the same blood that was shed at Calvary for you and I.

16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people" (2 CORINTHIANS 6:16 ).

While I won't question that what Jesus said is literally true, I think the primary lesson He meant for us to understand is that a mountain is anything standing in our way -- which we would call a problem. Lots of people speak to God about their problems. But not many people speak to their problems and tell them to be gone. It's not wrong to discuss things with God. But that is not all we should do. Jesus spoke to problems and He instructed us to speak to things we want removed from our lives.  You may think it's strange to speak to things. But God created this world and He knows how everything is designed to work. So
when Jesus tells us to speak to our problems, we should realize that He knows how things operate.
The reason it seems strange to us is that we have not known the ways of God. God loves us even when we don't follow His instructions. But we cannot expect good results in our life when we refuse to follow God's instructions.  Whatever problem you face, speak to it and tell it what you want it to do. "Be gone." "I refuse to allow you." "Get out of my life." As a child of God in union with Jesus Christ you have authority over every work of the enemy and everything that would harm you. Because you have been given authority, you have

to use it. You are supposed to choose what you allow in your life. Most of us, out of ignorance, thought our only choice was to just accept whatever happened. We didn't know any better. But now we are learning. So we can make new choices, and see better results.

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you (Matthew 17:20).

Selfishness, not hate, is the opposite of divine love. All the problems in the world today are the result of
selfishness. The problems in our governments and with our economies are all the result of selfishness. The problems in our families are the result of selfishness.  The answer is for each of us to desire the best for others, even to the point of sacrificing our own benefit to see others blessed. This describes divine love.
That's how Jesus lived. His aim was to benefit others, not to please Himself. Jesus suffered so we would not have to suffer. This love is a commandment for all Christian believers. But this commandment is given for our good, not to discourage us or condemn us. With the command we are also given the nature and ability to perform the command. All who receive Jesus Christ can walk in the same divine love Jesus did, because they have God's life in them. This is why all people MUST be born again, so they can be set free from sin's bondage by being cured of selfishness.

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. (John 13:34).

Forgiveness is a choice not a feeling. Your feelings may not change while you are praying, but you can choose to forgive at any time. It does not take long to make a choice. How long does it take to forgive? How long can you stand and pray? Jesus never said anything about the person deserving forgiveness. Nor did He say to forgive only after they asked for forgiveness.  Anytime you talk to God, Jesus said to forgive if you had anything against anyone. That would include people who hurt you without even realizing they hurt you. Even people who were still trying to hurt you. "Anyone" in this verse includes everyone, no matter what their attitude may be. Why should you forgive them? Not because they deserve it. But because of the harm it will cause you if you don't forgive. The reason you are to forgive others is to maintain your status with God.
Jesus indicates there is something about us refusing to forgive others that hinders our relationship with God and the free flow of blessings God desires for us to receive. I understand that forgiving someone who horribly wronged you is not easy, especially if they are not even sorry for what they did. But Jesus makes it clear that you have no real option. You MUST forgive if you want God's forgiveness. I need not tell you
how vital that is. If Jesus appeared to you right now and asked you face-to-face to forgive someone who hurt you would you do it for Him? We should respect Jesus' Word just as much as we would respond to
Jesus appearing to us face-to-face.

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses (Matthew 6:14-15).

Our work should not to be  what we exist for, for value is greater than just endeavoring to meet basic needs or dreams of riches, what do you do with the riches when your dieing and your money can't cure and you have no one but your money to keep your company? Your value is more than gold and silver.and if that is all that you truly exist for your work is an avenue God can use to bless other people . Use all that  God has given you: your influence, your contacts, your profits, to bless people and turn them toward God. Many people won't listen to a pastor or TV preacher, but they will listen to someone they know and contact in daily life. You don't have to be a pastor or a priest to walk with God and be used by Him. Think of Abraham, David, Moses, and Daniel. Not one of them was a preacher or a priest. Instead, they were all involved in agriculture or government, what we consider as secular jobs. Yet they are among the most famous and revered of Bible characters. Also we should keep in mind that Jesus of Nazareth spent most of His years on earth as a carpenter  a businessman not a preacher.  You can see God move just as much in the work place as at a church meeting. God is interested in blessing people right where they are. Where you work and spend your time is your "world." God does not expect or ask most people to win some other country for Him. God expects you to be a witness right where you are. Be a witness of God's blessing and goodness and love. You don't have to force your beliefs on people, but let your associates and customers and suppliers and co-workers see God's blessing in your life, and as you have opportunity let them know it is because of God's grace and goodness which is also available for them.

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,
knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for[a] you serve the Lord Christ (Colossians 3:23-24).

If salvation is based on our performance on what we do then it is not by grace. Our salvation is based on what Jesus Christ did. Our part is simply to receive the gift!  Salvation cannot be a free gift and also be something we must earn. Either we earn it, or it is a gift. It cannot be a mixture of the two.  If you claim to give me a gift, but you ask me for any payment  no matter how small then it is not a gift but something I am buying for a reduced price. Buying something on sale does not make it a gift. If there is any payment involved, by definition, it is not a gift.  Today, just as in Bible times, there are those who teach that
being right with God can only be achieved by keeping their list of rules. But this is not the true teaching of the New Covenant. Those who present a plan of salvation based on your performance are not rightly dividing the Word. Yes, many Scriptures give instruction on what we are to do. But they are instructions for
how to live, not how to be saved and enter the family of God. Will there be rewards and consequences for our actions? Yes! Scripture makes that clear. But our entrance into God's family and our home in Heaven is not based on our performance, but on our faith in what Jesus performed.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

A certain woman came to Jesus making a request of Him. Jesus' answer was basically that she was asking for something that did not belong to her, because she did not have a covenant with God. Yet she asked and it was given to her! She didn't just beg. She worshiped Jesus and appealed for mercy. She didn't claim she
deserved the answer but she did ask.  This is one of the secrets of life. Ask! It works with God and
it works in our relationships with people, too.  Pride can prevent us from asking God for help yet he standing right there waiting on you, so what do you got to loose by trust in the God? Pride tells. Humility asks. In marriage many people are unhappy. Yet they don't clearly communicate to their spouse what it is they would like. Don't nag! But respectfully and lovingly ask for what you desire. Make your requests known. People can't read your mind. God knows our thoughts, but still tells us to ask Him for what we need or desire  Many people stumble through life disappointed that God has not given them more. One reason may be because God is waiting for them to have enough faith to ask Him for His help. I don't mean we should act like a beggar. But be bold in asking for what you need or desire.  We may hold back from asking because we think we don't deserve good things. Probably true! But Jesus deserves good and He died so we could receive what He deserves. Jesus took what we deserved so we could have better.

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened (Matthew 7:7-8).

Fear is the absence of faith. It can be understood as faith in the devil. Fear is the opposite of believing and trusting in God. Fear stops faith from working. You could say that fear is faith in reverse. Fear is the cause of all worry, for worry is meditation on fear. Some may think some fear is healthy, but no true fear is good.
We don't have to fear something to have a healthy respect for it, and thus to act wisely. Fear makes people do irrational things. Reverence for God, sometimes called the "fear of God" is healthy, but it has nothing to do with actually being afraid of God.  When we look at the world situation, it is easy to cry out like the servant of Elisha. But when we are tempted to be afraid, it is only because we are not seeing the reality of the whole picture. God is for us, so no matter what comes against us, it can never prevail over us. We should ask God to open our eyes to the truth. Then keep our focus on God's Word, not on the temptations, lies, and roarings of the devil. Fear is fed by what we look at and listen to. We can resist fear by choosing to always focus on God and His promises.  One way to understand how valuable you are to God is to
consider the great price Would a good parent allow his child who trusted in him to be harmed. God loves you more than any earthly parent ever loved their child -- and God has the power to fully protect you. So you can trust in Him. But when we act in fear, we run from the protection of our wonderful Father God and open the door to our enemy.  We should be free from fear because God is for us and watches out for us. The worst that can happen to us from a worldly perspective is to die, but even then we will go to be with
Jesus. With God on your side, there is really nothing to fear. Yes, there will be struggles. There will be trials. But these are just opportunities to overcome and gain eternal rewards. In all we face in life, God has promised to be with us, and to help us. So what is there to fear?

9Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9).

What is love to you

You can give without loving, but you can't love without giving. When you love you will give of your time, you will give of yourself, and you will give of your resources. Those who truly love, hold nothing back. As Gave his all on the cross for you and I. The measure of your giving reveals the measure of your love. Love is something we can't see, but we can see the evidence of love in the action it produces, which is giving.
If you love someone you will also give them forgiveness. Love causes you to be merciful, understanding, and forgiving. Where you give your time and resources also reveals what you love. If we think we love someone, yet never give to them of our time or resources, then we are just deceiving ourselves. Christ wants your heart for he gave his all for you and I. His word tells us that he as plans to prosper us not to harm us.For your salvation do you know the price it cost? Were you ready able to pay that price for yourself?
If so why did my savior have to suffer, it was his blood that was shed on the cross for you and I. His love for the Father did what no one else could do. He paid a sin debt in full, all he wants is our love .

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).

Without Faith it is impossible to please the Father

Here on Earth, it is considered wise to save up for the future, to have a plan for how you will be supported in your old age. But how much more important should it be considered, to prepare
for eternity. Some day, you will be living in Heaven. Then you will be glad you trusted Jesus and honored Him here on Earth. Jesus never promised that following Him would exempt us from
facing problems in this life. But He did promise to always be with us, and to help us overcome whatever we face. The devil's whole strategy is to steal your faith in God. Whenever we receive revelation of God's Word, it is to be expected that the devil will try to steal that word from our heart. How could satan take the Word away from someone? Only by getting them to doubt it. By trying to arrange circumstances and feelings to make it seem like God's Word is not true. Why else would anyone turn loose of God's Word unless the Word does not seem to be working in their life? God requires you to trust Him  and He deserves your trust. So hang on tight to your faith in God and His Word! If things don't seem to be working, ask God to teach you and give you understanding of how to act on His Word accurately. But never doubt God's faithfulness to keep His Word. Not only will this benefit you in this life, but through all eternity.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him (Hebrews 11:6).

Cast your cares onto the Lord

Worry is associated with pride, as these verses reveal, for being humble is the opposite of pride. And pride will, sooner or later, cause you to fail, instead of lifting you up. A person who worries is proud because their action shows they think they are better and more compassionate than God. When you analyze it, the thinking behind worry is really "God is not doing a good enough job taking care of me, so I better take over and figure something out on my own." Pride makes us think we can handle things on our own apart from God. Jesus said that without Him we can do nothing at all, except mess it all up if left to our own devices. One way to humble ourselves is to just put our lives in God's hands and trust Him. It's like getting in a car someone else is driving. You don't want to get in the car of a stranger who may be untrustworthy. But God loves you more than you love yourself and desires the best for you, so you can trust Him. He loves you enough to die for you, surely we can trust Him with our day to day  issues. Whatever is a burden to you, is troubling you, weighing you down, causing you concern, or tempting you to worry is included in what you are to throw over on the Lord. God wants us to throw all those things over on Him, trusting Him to work it all out for the best. Then once you really throw them over to Him, you'll have peace in your heart even though the problems still exist, because you
know the Lord is working. Throwing something is not the same as pushing it aside a little bit. Throwing something pictures getting rid of it completely. When you throw something you don't have it anymore.
Instead of throwing the concern of the things they face over to God, many just try to push them away a little at a time. They ask God to help them, but they keep trying to solve things on their own.
Yes, we have a part to play, and we can't just lock ourselves in a room and expect God to go out and live our lives for us. But the part we have to play is obedience. When God directs us to do something we are to do it. But worrying ahead of time about what will happen does no good. Although things may not be clear to you now, and things may not seem to be working out, God is trustworthy. So don't depend on your own understanding, but trust in God. He knows what He is doing, and He loves you. You will understand better later on. Worrying will never help. Instead of worrying and being anxious, throw all your cares on the Lord.

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7)

Sin's decitfulness

Sin advertises that it will bring happiness, but fails to deliver it leaves you with a empty feeling that again your like a drug addict seeking to get the next sin fix.  Sin tells you to throw off restraint and live for the moment -- do whatever feels right to you with no thought for the future. The only problem is that it does not work! Sin's promises are empty.  All sin hurts people. So all sin will (eventually) make someone miserable. Can you make yourself happy by making others miserable? No! It may seem to work for awhile, but in the end it fails.
Don't be deceived! You cannot make yourself happy by hurting people. Instead of happiness, sin actually pays out in death. The good news is that no matter how deeply sin has trapped you, Jesus will forgive you and free you!  Jesus is not your enemy -- sin is your enemy. Sin only promises you happiness, then brings destruction, misery, and pain. Jesus is your friend who came to set you free from sin.  Jesus frees us not only from the punishment of sin, but also from the power and control of sin.  When you receive Him, Jesus puts His life and love in your heart, so you don't have to sin.  People sin because they are afraid of missing out on something good. All sin is based on fear, which results from not truly knowing God loves us.  But God does love you! Enough to die for you! So you can be certain that He does not want to withhold any good thing from you. Many people read this verse in Matthew and think of few people making it to Heaven, but that is not what Jesus said. Life, in full victory, as God intended, is enjoyed by very few people during our time on earth. The reason is because they allow themselves to be deceived by sin. The road of joyful, wonderful life is difficult. It can be a struggle to keep from being deceived.

But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness ( Hebrews 3:13).

Forgiveness is not an option but a command

We are commanded to forgive others in the same way God has forgiven us! Having God's help is necessary to do that. You must forgive others. No matter what they have done. It is the command of God. But it was given for our benefit. To not forgive hurts you. Refusing to forgive is like swallowing poison daily. It will destroy you.Jesus said we should forgive when we stand praying. So we don't have to wait until people apologize. Nor does forgiveness require a long time. Forgiveness is not a feeling. It is a decision to quit holding something against someone. When we forgive people we must release them and forget it. You may think it is impossible to forgive someone who has deeply wronged you. With God it is possible. He never asks us to do something we cannot do.  Whatever we measure out is what will be measured back to us. If
we want others including God  to show mercy to us and forgive us we must forgive and be merciful to others. It is not enough to forgive only those people who have wronged us a little. We must forgive everyone!  Surely Jesus was not setting a maximum limit on the number of times we should forgive. He gave an absurdly high number so we would realize He meant for us to forgive without limit just as He forgives us.  Jesus set a perfect example of forgiveness for us when He forgave those who mocked Him and crucified Him. But this kind of forgiveness is certainly beyond normal human ability or experience. It takes the power of God to do it. When we are born again we have access to that power through the love of God inside us.

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you (Colossians 3:13).

Who is your king

This is the question we must face, both as individuals and as nations. Who, or what, will be our "king?"
We have a choice. We can choose Jesus Christ and His Kingdom of Love, Light, and Life. Or we can choose selfishness and darkness and death. Whenever we reject Jesus and His Word from ruling over us,
whether as individuals or as a nation, we choose darkness. I do not advocate any religious control over government. What we need instead is people in government who know the truth and will speak and act in truth and not out of self interest. We need people in secular government who are submitted to Jesus as
their Lord and are willing to live and govern with His love for mankind, instead of acting in self interest.

Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne
and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness  from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this (Isaiah 9:7).

Do Good and share with others

Not everyone who is poor is that way because of what they have done. Disasters happen. The enormity of the need worldwide can tempt us to just ignore the plight of the poor. We can't help everyone, but that should not keep us from helping someone.  If you are reading this, then by definition you are not one of
the truly poor. You may be poorer than your neighbor, but there are many people poorer than you are. The truly poor cannot read, and struggle for food, which they don't have every day.  In this account, the rich man did not oppress the beggar laying at his gate, where he probably passed by every day. The rich man just ignored him. The dogs seem to have had more mercy. They at least licked the sores of the poor beggar, while the rich man did nothing to help relieve his suffering. God loves all the people of the world -- rich and poor. His will is not that anyone should suffer or be forgotten. God loves those who are poor. So we who have been blessed with more should not forget them.

And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased (Hebrews 13:16).

The Spirit of Truth

The Spirit of Truth lives in us, so we should be known for our truthfulness. People should be saying, "You can depend on them. If they say something, you can count on it being true!" There should be a clear difference between the children of light and the children of darkness, the children of God and the
children of the devil. Never forget that the devil is the father of lies. People lie because of fear of loss or pain. They are afraid if they always tell the truth, things might go badly for them. So people lie to try to obtain a better result for themselves. But lies can take you only so far. Truth always prevails in the end. So a lie that was done in an attempt to help you, willalways end up eventually hurting you instead. Some might argue that sometimes lies are used to avoid hurting other's feelings. Like when someone asks, "Do I look old or fat?" and you tell them "No!" because you want them to feel good about themselves. But actually you don't want them to think badly of you for telling them the truth. I would never suggest that you say anything to put anyone down and make them feel bad. But you don't have to respond directly to that type of question, either. Instead you could answer with something like, "You are a wonderful person and I love you." One thing we need to learn is that we are not obligated to answer every time we are asked a question. Jesus did not! There are times when it is best to simply say nothing. As Christians, we may lament how politicians and government leaders seem to have problems with telling the truth. But we cannot condemn them without condemning ourselves, if we are also guilty of sometimes not telling the truth. We need a revival of truth in our culture. As Christians we should be people who mean what we say and can be depended on to tell the truth. We are supposed to be a light to the world around us, setting a good example. While a lie may tempt with the promise of improving things, remember that the devil's work results in stealing, killing,
and destruction.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

Men of God reflect Christ's humbleness is all you do

Clothe yourself with humility! Humility will protect you, just as clothing protects your body. Without humility you are exposed and vulnerable. Without being clothed with humility, you risk embarrassment.
Humility will keep you from the mistakes of pride. What is humility? Humility is an attitude, a way of thinking. True humility is not putting yourself down, but simply seeing yourself as the Bible says you are. "I am what I am by the grace of God." Everything you have is a gift from God. So without Him, you can do NOTHING! Humility is the opposite of pride. Pride is the wrong estimation of yourself.Pride focuses on what I deserve and creates dissatisfaction. But humility appreciates everything. The proud person always blames God because they don't accept that they could be at fault. Without humility you will be deceived. You will buy the lie that you have been mistreated by God. So instead of realizing that you, and other people disobeying God, are the cause of all your problems, you will blame God.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience (Colossians 3:12).

The Spirit of the Lord

God has revealed His will to us in many areas through His written Word, the Bible. But there are many things the Bible does not specifically tell us, such as what person to marry, what job to do, or where to live.  But God has made provision to guide us in these areas of life also. The peace of God is the umpire to determine our direction. Understanding the "peace of God"can sometimes seem difficult. Inexperienced believers can mistake feeling good or comfortable in their flesh for the inner witness. But, just like everything in life, we learn, even when we make a mistake. While this may be open to misunderstanding and abuse, it's what Scripture teaches. God desires a growing relationship with us, and obviously is not too concerned about us never making a mistake while we grow spiritually and learn by experience how to better discern the "inner witness." We are not talking about having "peace" in your flesh, but an "inner" peace deep within your spirit. It is not fleeting, but grows stronger the more we draw near to God by spending time focused on Him and His Word. Normally, with the inner witness, thoughts will just come to you. But thoughts can come from sources other than God. We need a way to judge which thoughts are from God and which ones are not. There are two criteria by which we can determine whether a thought is from God. The first is a knowledge of the written Word of God, the Bible. God will never lead us contrary to His written Word.  The second criteria is the inner witness. It is important to realize that it is not usually a voice, but a witness. Some words to define it are intuition, impression, idea, hunch, knowing, or peace. The inner witness is something we learn to recognize better as we grow in our relationship with the Lord. It is best to learn on things that are not life-and-death issues. God is interested in every detail of our lives and will help us in everything. He will even lead us in things we would consider small things, such as locating misplaced objects. The inner witness  is also how God confirms the most important thing in this life: knowing we are a child of God. To be sensitive to the Lord's leading, we must look to the Lord and spend time focused on Him. Prayer, praise, giving thanks, and acknowledging God in all our ways are part of it. The better we know the Lord, both through His Word, and through walking with Him, the easier it will be for us to discern the inner witness of the Spirit, and know God's will for us. We must walk in the light we have, and make our decisions prayerfully and humbly, always being ready to change and admit we were wrong. God promises that if any of us lack wisdom, we can ask Him and He will give it to us

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful (Colossians 3:15).

Ask in prayer of your Father

Jesus says we must believe we receive our answer when we pray, not wait until we see it. But no one can believe they receive without evidence. God's written Word is our evidence.Whenever we ask the Father for anything we really desire, we must believe that we receive our request granted to us when we
pray. Then we act like we already have it, and the thing we prayed for will eventually show up. But we must pray in line with God's Word. We cannot just "believe" anything out of thin air if it does not agree with God's Word  and expect to receive it. Bible-based prayer that works is not getting God to do
something, but receiving by faith from God based on what He has already said and done. In other words, we do not need to change God's mind or get Him to do something. We just need to enter in by faith to receive what God has already decided and provided. So, find Scripture that promises what you need or want, then take that to God in prayer and believe you receive it when you pray.

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours (Mark 11:24).

The Witness

The Scripture phrase God showed me as I sought Him concerning how to be led by the Spirit. I realized that had been the way I had determined which message God would have me preach. I would pray and seek God until, on the inside of me, it just seemed good to preach a particular message. I couldn't really explain it, but I knew it was how God was leading me in what subjects to preach. I saw in Scripture this was also the same "leading" Luke had to write down the Gospel of Luke. And also how some important decisions were made in the early days of the Church. They described it as "it seemed good." Obviously, an immature believer could easily use this as an excuse for their behavior, saying it just "seemed good to them." But we are not talking about something seeming good to
your flesh or your mind, but to your innermost being, your spirit where God dwells which is in the hearts of those that have accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. And we must always remember that the Holy Spirit will never lead us to do anything that is not in line with God's written Word, the Bible, which was given to us to assist us and guide us. God has a plan for guiding His children in all the questions of life.

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God (Roman 8:16).

Be an encourager not a destroyer

A major, yet often unrecognized, problem is members of the Body of Christ using their words to curse others in the body, if you are a child of God then let love flow from your heart as your Father has loved you who once his enemy and now you have been redeemed by his love and grace and mercy.  Don't fall into the devil's trap. Christians have been delegated authority on Earth by Jesus Christ. When we speak bad things about people we are abusing that authority which was given to us to bless, and not to curse. The world tries to get us to focus on the shortcomings,
weaknesses, and failures of our leaders. Admittedly, all leaders are human. Not one of them can be expected to be perfect. This is why it's important for us to pray for them,
and not to joke about them, or say anything bad about them. Think about this: you cannot pray in faith for a leader and also talk badly about them. Such negative speaking would negate
your prayer. The spirit of the age is to mock, belittle, and criticize everyone, but especially those in authority. We must guard against this trap of our enemy. You don't have to lie and say anything good about a leader. You don't have to vote for them. You can just keep quiet.

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness (1 Timothy 2:2)

Judge not

It's easy to criticize or judge  others. But God says don't take his job that is not for us to worry about. Those who criticize others are proud. They assume they know
what is best, and that they are qualified to judge and even condemn others. They think they are better than those they criticize. Without God's grace and forgiveness, we would all be in
trouble! One of the devil's most successful strategies against the Church has been to get us to accuse one another. Instead of accusing our brothers and sisters in Christ, we
should be praying for them. After all, we are in the same Body! Revelation 12:10 tells us that the devil is called "the accuser of our brethren." Always be on your guard not to join forces
with the devil and help him do his work. We must make judgments about people in order to function in life. We can evaluate the fruit produced by others and
therefore make proper decisions (Matthew 7:16). But we do not have to criticize and condemn people. We can be quiet. What if a person's behavior is harming others? We have a
responsibility when we are in a position of authority to protect those we are responsible for. If you are in such a position you should report such a case to those in authority over you, in order to protect those you serve. Otherwise, your primary duty is to pray for those you think are not yet perfect.

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again (Matthew 7:2).

Each of us were that lost sheep

Did you know that the Heavenly Father loves all people yes even a sinner like me, which is way he paid my debt in full, he wants to make all man kind right with him, but the gift must first be received which is Christ sin gift he paid our debt and if we believe on him who did we are saved and Christ then makes us right with God not by our might or our will but by his, Children are precious to their parents. No matter how many children a parent has, every child is precious to them. They are all loved. So it is with God, who obviously has a huge capacity for love. A parent may have a child who is a criminal, but that parent, if they are a good parent, will still care for their son or daughter and desire good for them. God is no less loving and caring. He desires good for his children why want you accept his gift and come home and find rest and peace for your soul? Aren't you tired of being beat up and beat down by this life, never feeling like you belong and feeling empty no amount of drugs, sex, alcohol or  material wealth seems to fill that void in you. The Good News is Christ and Christ alone can fill that gap every one.

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.  Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful (Luke 6:35-36).

You have a value

Thoughts of inferiority attack us all. No one, no matter how beautiful or successful, is immune. How should you determine how valuable you are? The best way to determine the value of something is to find out what someone is willing to pay for it. What was the price God was willing to pay for you?The price God was willing to pay for you was the death of His Son. No greater price could have been paid! Who should you allow to determine your value?  Your heavenly Father thinks you are extremely valuable! Don't let the devil rob this precious truth from you. While you are not yet displaying your full potential, God sees what you will eventually become. God thinks you are valuable enough to die for! Although there are billions of other humans, you are not lost in the crowd. God knows you! He knows the number of hairs on your head! He knows every desire and dream you have. And even though He knows everything about you, He still loves you with
an everlasting love! God is committed to you. He has promised to never leave you or forsake you In light of the amazing price God paid for you He tells me that he has plans to prosper you, so he not only died for you and paid yours and mine  sin debt but he wants to prosper you.

Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?  But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows (Luke 12:6-7).

We are the body

The Bible tells us to honor our father and mother. It is not wrong to honor someone because of their achievements, we should not consider humans the originators of
everything. And we are not to set some people up on a pedestal and follow them instead of God. It is not wrong to honor people, but it is wrong to honor people above God.
No one should be allowed to take the place of honor and respect that belongs to God alone. He is the One who originated all things. He is the One who deserves our utmost honor, respect,
and obedience. God is our Leader! And instead of operating like the world and setting up a hierarchy we are to operate as co-equals for we are the body.  The human tendency is to try and distinguish ourselves from others. We try to elevate ourselves so others will look up to
us and make us feel good about ourselves. Jesus is telling us we must not operate as body which mean the legs do one thing and the arms perform a different task, but neither is less or better than the other. We should not need a title to make us feel valuable when God has already established our value by the price He paid to redeem us. Being a child of God is the highest position imaginable. No human title can begin to compare with that. All special titles and human recognition are ultimately
worthless anyway. They may have some value here on earth. But only God, the ultimate Judge, truly matters. What others think of us matters little. Human organizations always exalt some people while minimizing others. "These are the important people. These other people are not very important." But God's people are not supposed to operate this way. Finally, Jesus tells a great truth -- which many have not yet understood. The greatest person is the one who serves others the most. This is not just a short-term idea, valid only in this life on earth. This is the way it will be in God's Kingdom
for eternity. Those who serve others the most are the greatest. In the Kingdom of God status is not measured by a title or an office or a following (how may fans or friends you may have).
Instead greatness is determined solely by how much you help others. God helps everyone all the time. That makes Him the greatest. The more we help others, the greater it makes us. So don't
worry about a title or an office just be willing to be the hands and feet of Christ to bless all those that He sends your way, for their are no accidents just opportunity.

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28).

His love payed the price

Love lost something very precious when Adam and Eve rebelled and believed the lie Satan told her.  Their hearts and minds were captured by a lie. Love is not warring against people, but against selfishness, hatred, fear, and ignorance. If Love went to war, how would Love fight? Love wages war not by destroying its enemies, but by winning them over, converting them to Truth.  Love never harms those it takes captive. When Love wins a battle, there are no casualties, only winners. Love's war is for truth to prevail. Lies from the enemy have kept God's children in bondage, but truth sets people free. The devil's tactics, which remain the same today. His first statement to Adam and Eve was to say that what God told them was not true. Then he implied that God was acting selfishly by withholding what would benefit them, insinuating that God did not really care for them. Ever since the Garden of Eden, Satan has continued feeding mankind false propaganda  simple because Satan knows that we are the apple of God's eye meaning that hates because God like any real father decided to do whatever he could to offer his sons and daughters a chance to return to him.  Satan, however is a liar and a murder from the beginning! Love could not win the argument with just words.  An action was required. God needed to disprove all the devil's lies. God wanted us to know that he loved no one more than his creation. "Let us make man in our own image" so you see we were loved from the beginning this is the reason why God became a man, and why He died on the cross at Calvary. It is impossible to prove you are not an uncaring dictator by issuing decrees. You can only demonstrate that you have an unselfish, loving nature by actions. Jesus won the decisive battle at Calvary, but not everyone
clearly understands yet what happened there. When everyone knows the full truth, the war will be over. God does not force His deliverance, blessing, and love on people, but allows us all to make choices. Many don't yet believe God is good and loves them. But Love is determined to win the hearts of humanity. And Love will not fail!

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:4-5)

Which Jesus do you serve

November is a month of thanksgiving, Our Savior should be number one on your list. Its back again I will continue to repeat this till i know that each of us has answered this question for ourselves. This for me is probably the most important question that  I could ever answer for myself.  Father help me to be a earthly representation of Christ my Lord and Savior, I want to be more like Jesus and less like me. I want to ready willing to lay my life down for my wife as Christ did for the Church, not for just for a bullet but daily that she would know that I love her like Christ loved the church. I want to love my children like Christ love the little one's. I want to be a true brother to my brothers, by putting them first and even be willing to be servant to them. As Christ washed the feet of his disciples. That is the Jesus I want to serve what about you!!!!

Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. (Ephesians 5:1-2)

The call to imitate God is a call to separate ourselves from the world though we may be in but not of it  (Ephesians 4:17-19) and how we have been made new (Ephesians 4:20-24) and then gave us specific ways to do that (Ephesians4:25-32).

Our call is to live with the same love that Christ has demonstrated.  Jesus laying down his life for us, was first of all an expression of his love for his Father. Jesus did it, not only because of his love for us, but because first of all he loved the Father and this was  the Father’s will. This ‘life of love’ is not to be something we do to make ourselves feel good or appear good, it is to come out of and be an expression of our love for God Himself.  When John says, “We love because he first loved us,” (1 John 4:19). The first thing we need to do in the Christian life is become utterly convinced of God’s love.

On Sunday they raise their hands to heaven and declare that it is Jesus that they serve.
Then why do we look so much like the world?
Did you know that the wheat and the tare, the world can't tell which is which and quite frankly neither can I. So I pose the question again, which Jesus do you serve?

My Savior bleed and suffered and died and rose again for a sinner like me. My Savior, was a friend to friendless, He remembers the forgotten ones among us, Which Jesus do you follow?
 Which Jesus do you serve?
Is it this picture of the American dream that you chase after? Is the prince of this world who you serve or did you miss that part when you decided you want fortune and power?
If Jesus was here would you walk right by him or cross over to the other side of the street?
Would you even recognize him or have time to speak to him?
Pretty blue eyes and curly brown hair and a white complexion Michael Angelo version of Jesus ,is that the Jesus you serve? My Savior was battered and bruised for my sins, did you miss that part? Sometimes I ponder do we really understand what the price he paid for us?
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for they understand and they know My Savior. So which Jesus do we serve. is it the one whom we pray to bless us with great wealth? Or the Jesus who said
blessed are they that hunger and thirst for righteousness?
So who do you serve? The one whose promises are like shifting sand?
Marine says it God , then country and the marine Corp, what comes first for you?
My Jesus would he be accepted in your churches today? All bloody and bruised with no shoes on his feet, would we want him sitting next to us?  He was not rich he didn't have a pillow to lay his head upon. Today my Jesus would look like a homeless man or perhaps we would see him  as mentally insane.
He spent His time with criminals and those that are considered the least among us. Did you know he had a heart for the poor, so which place would  He come to eat Sabbath meal at your house or among those that were forgotten by society?
Its time we decide which Jesus do we serve but I'm not sure we understand what that means to be like Christ,
Jesus said to live like HIM, love like HIM but then does that mean we must be willing to die for HIM as he died for you and I???
Can we be Imitators of Christ? Can we live like our Savior?  Which one do you want to be ? I turned on the TV set today and heard a man preaching Jesus wants to make you rich and that he never intended for us to be poor.  Is that the Jesus your seeking??? Heard a pastor say that his Jesus says that we should never be sad. Yet my Jesus wept when heard his good friend was dead. So which Jesus do you serve?  I know that I want to be more like my Savior and less like me.  I want to be an imitator of my Savior what about you????
