Psalm 119:57

"Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words." (Psalm 119:57)
Three stanzas within the 22 stanzas of Psalm 119 have all eight Hebrew terms used to describe the Word of God. How appropriate it is that the central theme in these verses (vv. 57-64) provides us succinct ways to keep (guard) His Word.
Principally, our "whole heart" must be involved in seeking the "favour" of God (v. 58). The "great commandment"  rests on loving God with "all" of our hearts. If we seek God’s blessing, both during our earthly life and in the eternity to come, we can "trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths" ).
Such a heart thinks (considers, reckons) about the ways of God and turns (turns back, corrects) its "feet unto testimonies" . The godly life is not an unplanned life. The godly life seeks to understand and obey the words of God’s Word. And the godly life makes "haste" and will not delay in keeping His commandments .
Circumstances may cause temporary difficulties in the life of a godly person, but he will not forget the laws of God. Rather, he will rise at "midnight" (the deepest time of trouble) to give thanks to our Lord "because of thy righteous judgments" .
The one who wants to guard the Word of God is a companion of those who fear God and keep the precepts of the Word, know that Word of God is life to the soul and lamp unto our feet.

Psalm 119:65

"Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word." (Psalm 119:65)

The good that comes from the hand of the Lord is "according unto thy word," a common phrase in
Interestingly, the psalmist twice emphasizes that it was important for him to be "afflicted" before he learned something of the gracious provision of the Lord . The Hebrew word anah is used widely in the Bible, the most famous passage prophesying about the sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus: "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted" .
Although affliction does not necessarily come because of personal disobedience (even though that surely happens among us), often the Lord uses an occasion to drive home a concept of holiness or obedience (according to His Word) that will bring His favor or, more properly, bring us in line with His Word so that we may experience the "peaceable fruit of righteousness" ).
Three times the psalmist asked his Lord to teach him or let him learn from the Word about the eternal principles of righteousness . Three times he insisted that he will keep and delight in the holy laws and principles of which he is aware .
The core theme of this simple message focuses on the passionate commitment of the psalmist to learn and obey the Word of God. No past history can negate God's faithfulness. No present difficult circumstances can thwart God's promises. Thus: "The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver" .

Do grow weary

No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to
remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it.

We  have  all been tempted to give up and give in to the lies of he enemy. But we always have a choice: focus on God and stay in faith, or focus on the problem and watch it overwhelm you .

No matter the problems  no matter how huge they seem to be, we are not alone God is with us always. Nothing is too hard, or complicated, for God to solve. But God wants us to trust Him. So what should you do when you are being tempted and feel like giving in and giving up?

Refuse, to allow to happen lean upon the Word of God and trust in that he will abandon you.

Just keep your focus on the Lord and rejoice in His faithfulness. Remember that God cannot lie, and will never
fail. God will see you through.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.(Hebrews 1:23)

When the devil tries to steal your faith, he tries to get you to quit speaking in agreement with the Word of God. Don't let it happen! Hold fast to speaking your faith! Keep on saying what the Word of God says about you and your situation. Don't be moved by the circumstances.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Don't grow weary. Keep your eyes on the Lord. His Word will work and produce a harvest of blessing in your life. Don't doubt it!

I release to you the burdens that I have been carrying

I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until the day of His return. (2 Timothy 1:12)
Heavenly Father, I release to you the burdens that I have been carrying, burdens that You never intended for me to carry. I cast all my cares upon You-all my worries, all my fears.
Father, calm my restless spirit, quiet my anxious heart, still my troubling thoughts with the assurance that You are in control. I let go of my grip upon the things I have been hanging onto, with opened hands I come to You.
I thank You for Your promise to sustain me, preserve me, and guard all that I have entrusted to Your keeping. Protect my heart and mind with Your peace, the peace that passes all understanding. Father, may Your will be done in my life, in Your time, and in Your way.
By Roy Lessin

How many among you, carry the weight of the world on your shoulders at times?  Are you still carrying with the pain of the past? Its time you left those things that the feet of Christ. He did not come back just to offer you eternal life, but to take with him to the cross not only your sins but your pains and mistakes. If we carry every mistake every time we have been hurt, most of would not be able to stand up for the weight of our mistakes and sins would be so great.  Give it up to the Lord God who is able to do all things.

"Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."(Acts 1:11)

Jesus of Nazareth, born into this earth by the virgin Mary, who was the pre-existent, eternal, Creator God, and who suffered and died on a cross as mankind's substitute, is coming back to earth again.

You probably have questions, such as "When?" and "Why?" Fortunately, the Bible does give us answers, just not as many as most of us would like. (This attitude is really a matter of pride, thinking we know better than God how much information He should share with us.)

Godly people, throughout history, have not all reached the same conclusion by studying Scripture, about the specific timing and events surrounding the second coming of Jesus Christ.

What is crystal clear from Scripture is that Jesus Christ will return to earth in triumph to rule over all. And that all
people should live in a state of readiness for His return.

(Since all the details are not clear, let us not fall into the trap of fighting over this doctrine. The Bible does not say
that a perfect understanding of this subject is necessary for you to be saved.)

My personal opinion is that the coming of Jesus Christ is drawing very near. (Of course, I have been wrong about other things.) One thing is sure: it will happen some day!

For a believer, the return of Jesus Christ to earth is the most wonderful thing that could happen. Any fearfulness is a sign that you do not know the Lord as intimately as you should.

As believers, we should look forward to the triumphant, physical return to this planet of its rightful owner and ruler:
Jesus Christ our Lord.

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. (John 5:24)

More than twice as many scriptures refer to eternal life as a present possession, than as a future possession.
There is only one way to get eternal life. When we are  born again by receiving Christ as our Lord and Savior,  the gift of eternal life is imparted to each of us.

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.  Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. (1John 3:14-15)

From this passage, we see that eternal life is a present-tense possession which changes the nature of a person: turning them into someone who cares for others. Who learns to be last instead of always seeking to be first. For the truth joy of life is the giving to another. Christ gave his life for a sinner like me, so for me to give of my Time, my Talent and tides,

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."(Romans 6:23)

Eternal life, or everlasting life, is more than living forever. Eternal life is spending eternity in the presences of the living God. The Greek word "aionios" is usually translated as eternal or everlasting in the New Testament. (From this word we get our English word "eon.") "Zoe" is one of several Greek words that are translated life.
According to Vine's Dictionary, zoe means "life as a principle, life in the absolute sense, life as God has it. Eternal life is the present actual possession of the believer because of his relationship with Christ"
"In the Word of God eternal life is  gift given from the Father to those that are faithful and trust and obey his holly word. The word `eternal' draws attention to the quality of that life, not to its duration in a temporal sense. Thus eternal life can be experienced by believers even while subject to the temporal conditions of earthly life. Translators should be careful to avoid expressions which mean no more than a timeless continuation of life after death."

Sin places a border between us and our heavenly Father, sin can a separation between and our heavenly Father.  The Word of God tells us that God will not dwell where sin is.  Eternal death is opposite of Eternal life. Unforgiven sin will only lead to eternal separation from God which is death.  But wait there is more, if you will confess your sins he is quick to forgive you, so as Christ said it is not his nor his Father for any man to perish

"Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples." (John 15:8)

If any Christian ever becomes discouraged in his witness for Christ, he should remind himself of the many blessings that are promised to those who faithfully bear testimony for His name's sake. First of all, it brings unique joy when he sees the fruit it bears. "They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him".

There is also the inestimable worth of even one soul. "Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins".

Faithful witnessing will eventually lead to revival. In the early church we are told that "daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ"  with the result that "the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith" .

Then, there are special rewards in heaven for faithful witnessing, not least of which is the very presence of those who would not have been there otherwise: "For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?" . "And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever" .

Best of all, however, is the simple knowledge that our witnessing shows Christ our love and brings honor to our heavenly Father. "Herein is my Father glorified." Therefore, "let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not".

Do you know the joy of being forgiven?

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Do you know the joy of being forgiven?
Through forgiveness the arms of Jesus lift you, His blood cleanses you and His love changes you.
Forgiveness is simply put a free gift to you from your heavenly Father one that is not earned by us. Turn your heart toward Christ pray to receive Him and His forgiveness by faith today... He will come into your heart and make all things new, in the book of Revelations we are told that he Stands at the door knocking and any man who hears him knocking and answer the door and lets him in, Christ said he would come in and sup with him.  Image the God of the university, first coming and dying for his enemies then offering his enemy a chance to be apart of his royal family.

Not sure about you but, I don't think I would make my enemy my family member, but this is all part of the benefit package that God has created for you once you ask for his forgiveness.  I was once a bastard but once God accepted my forgiveness for my sins and all of my errors. Once he welcomed me into the family he draped me in white linens

"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16)

The beautiful old hymn entitled "Arise, My Soul, Arise" was written by the great hymn writer Charles Wesley. Let us use its five verses to focus our thoughts these next five days.

Arise, my soul, arise; Shake off thy guilty fears;
The bleeding sacrifice in my behalf appears:
Before the throne my surety stands, (repeat)
My name is written on His hands.

At first reading, the theme of the song seems unclear, until we recognize that the sinner is being enjoined to come to salvation and by the power of the sacrificial blood shed on his behalf receive forgiveness and eternal life.

Because "Christ . . . hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God" , "we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access"  to the Father, who alone has the power to forgive our sins. We have no need to fear rejection, for "we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous".

As we see in our text, we can arise and "come boldly unto the throne of grace," where God the Father reigns. We have assurance of access because our "surety of a better testament"  is "a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God", and "who is on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens" . Here He requests the Father's "mercy, and . . . grace" on our behalf, for He knows us by our names which are already "written in the Lamb's book of life"  "from the foundation of the world" .

How can we please God and be members of the one church of the Bible, despite the existence of denominational division?
Come out from among them and be separate. Have no fellowship with the works of darkness, but reprove them am I saying that all Baptist are going to  hell or any other denomination??? No there are saved among all Christian faiths, but it is not the way that Christ instructed us to be.  For the Word of God is the seed of the kingdom. We purify our souls and are born again into God's family by obeying truth (not error). Does not the Word of God tell us to repent and be baptized for remission of sins and God will then add you to His true church. Then find a  church that walks and lives by the true Word of the living God  and is not part of any denominational system.  God luck on that one cause if the church has more than one church then it can be classified as a denomination.
In the first century, living the Messiah' true gospel made people members of  the Messianic faith  ' the one true church. It did not make them members of any denomination. That gospel can have the same effect in your life as it did in theirs, for God is no respecter of persons (Acts 2:39);  (Mark. 16:15,16). The seed of the kingdom will produce the same result today as it did in the first century (Gal. 6:8).
If you avoid man-made doctrines and obey just the true gospel of Christ our savior you and I can not go wrong. Let us daily seek the Lord our God and desire to live and do his perfect will, seeking out always God will not what a preacher or some holly man has said but is God's word saying to you. If he his word is not speaking to you, pray and ask God to give you clear understanding of his Word.

Despite the contradictory practices in denominationalism, we are told that it does not matter what church we attend, so just "join the church of our choice." Lets you and I make up a church and see if it "does not matter" if we attend this church. Suppose we had a church that taught all the following things:
* We follow the Bible as our sole guide in religion, but we also follow the Book of Mormon, the Catholic catechism, and Jehovah's Witness Watchtower publications as authority.
* We believe that a child of God can so sin as to be eternally lost, but we also believe that it is impossible for a child of God to so sin as to be eternally lost.
* We believe that immersion is the only true form of baptism, but we also practice sprinkling and pouring as valid forms of baptism.
* We believe that man is justified by faith alone, but we also teach that obedience is essential to justification.
* We believe that the seventh day of the week is the Christian sabbath and the first day of the week is a perversion, but we also believe that the first day of the week is the Christian sabbath for worshipping God.
* We worship the God of the Bible as our only God and Jesus as our only Savior, but we also worship the sun, moon, stars, and Satan.
What would you think of a church that believed and practiced all these contradictory doctrines? "Ridiculous! Hypocritical!" Yes, but when different churches teach  contradictory doctrines, some would say it "does not matter" which we join. Isn't that also ridiculous and hypocritical?
Consider what denominationalism says about the Messiah. We are told that "you can find our Savior in any of these churches." And "there are people in all the denominations that are following the Messiah."  If Christ is found in all the churches, though their teach are often contradictory doctrines,  so does make it all false doctrine?  Ponder this for a second if you dare, if all these churches are following the Word of God, yet they are going in opposite directions, what does that mean?
What is the real problem with our imaginary church? The problem is that no one could believe all these contradictory doctrines because truth does not contradict itself! This is the real issue. Christ teaches truth, and truth does not contradict itself. Denominations contradict one another. Therefore, they cannot all be teaching truth, and they cannot all be following The Word of God!

The Word of God emphasizes the importance of truth. We are told the truth will set us free. Obeying the truth is what makes us free from sin.  There is one true faith, just as there is only one true God (Eph. 4:3-6).
If the denominational concept is true, then all denominations are acceptable to God even though they flatly contradict one another regarding worship, salvation, etc. This means error is just as good as truth and unrighteousness is just as good as righteousness. Cleave  not to the words of men but put your trust in the Word of God and seek his face and trust only in his word. Not in the ideologies of  men for the Word of God tells me put not my trust in kings or princes for they will fail me.  Trust not in a denomination to save you, but trust in Christ whose blood paid the debtors debt for you and I.  Meaning no denomination can save nor deliver us from evil only placing our faith in the son of God.   I grew up in a family of decons, pastors, musicians, Sunday School teacher, part of my family was Southern Baptist the other half was Seven Day Adventist, Brothers and cousins could not plain family activities on Saturday for some that was their Sabbath day and Sunday could not be used for family  activities for that was the Southern Baptist sabbath. Till this the family is divided many of the children walked away from Church cause they grew weary of the fighting.  Tell me how could this be of God when it causes division?

"I and my Father are one" (John 10:30)

Rember what was just said there in John 10:30 at the end of this discussion.  Yeshua and His Father are one. ,Paul tells us that Christ is the Head of the church. A unified Messianic church were both Jew and Gentle worshipped and praised God together is the church that Paul, died establishing in the name of the Father,  one body one church not like modern day splintered  denominations.
Many Pastors and theologian  claim that denominations are all part of one universal church theory, though they contradict one another. But is this how Christ and His Father are? When did the Father and Son ever disagree about what church people should be members of? or about how to worship God? or about the plan of salvation? or about the organization of the church?
When did the Father say to the Son: "I disagree with your practices, but it doesn't matter what you believe as long as you're sincere. We're all going to the same place, at least I hope we are, if Christ is your savior and the head of your life and you have confessed him as such and ask forgiveness for your sins and accepted him as your Lord.
In what sense were the Father and the Son "one"?

God's people are defeated daily for their lack of knowledge

My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me. Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests.Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget to bless your children.( Hosea 4:6 NIV)
Are people's lives destroyed because God does not love them? Do people come to ruin and live in misery because God is callous and uncaring? NO!

People are destroyed for  a lack of knowledge, ponder this for a second, that which you do not comprehend, is that which you can not master. I encounter non believers who have a greater understanding of the Word of God than some believers. The believer's strength and encouragement comes from the Word, yet if he or she does not study and in part it in their heart, what then pray tell they stand upon. For we battle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual powers of darkness.  Meaning you can not hit what you can not see, only through God's Word can we battle this enemy whom is compared to a roaring lion seeking whom he might devour. Is it you that he's going to devour today?

Some of among you might even be contemplating, what kind of knowledge was he referring to? Knowledge that is available to you in God's written Word: how to walk in faith, how to overcome, how to resist the devil, etc.

God is not to blame for our troubles. God has already made provision for us. But we must avail ourselves of what God has provided.

How can we benefit from God's great provision if we don't even know what it is ?  Let each man and woman daily seek the truth in God's Word.
There is not one among us who does not have much to learn. No one yet is walking in the absolute fullness of what God has provided.

This must be one of the saddest verses in the Bible. To think that God's people are destroyed simply because of a lack of knowledge. As God's children, they are our brothers and sisters. It is our relatives being destroyed, and we should do what we can to stop it.

Let's quit giving victory after victory to the enemy  simply because our lack of knowledge of God's written Word. As we learn from God's Word we share our knowledge with the body, for iron sharpens iron.

"And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee." (Ezekiel 2:1)

This is the first of more than 90 times in which the prophet Ezekiel is addressed by God as "Son of man." This seems quite remarkable, as this title also was Christ's favorite title (using it 80 times), always applying it to Himself.

In Christ's case, of course, it means "representative man," "perfect man," "heir of man, all God's promises to man," "man as God intended man to be." As Son of man, Jesus as perfect man could take all the sins of sinful man upon Himself and redeem man.

David was the first to use the term when he asked: "What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?" (Psalm 8:4).
That this was revealed to him in a Messianic sense becomes clear when it is quoted in the New Testament (Hebrews 2:6-9) and applied strictly to the Lord Jesus. The prophet Daniel also used the title in a Messianic sense when he saw "one like the Son of man," who came to "the Ancient of days" to receive "everlasting dominion" over all men (Daniel 7:13-14).

Evidently the title as given by God to Ezekiel must also have been intended somehow in a Messianic sense, so that Ezekiel is, in effect, a type of the coming Savior. Ezekiel was a godly priest and scribe, but the Lord Jesus Christ is our "great high priest, that is passed into the heavens"—in fact, He is our "high priest for ever" (Hebrews 4:14; 6:20) and is "the Word of God" to the world (John 1:1, 14); (Revelation 19:13). It is significant that to Ezekiel was revealed more about the primeval fall of Satan (Ezekiel 28:11-19) and the glories of the coming kingdom (Ezekiel 40-48) than to any of the other Old Testament prophets. Truly, God "spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets," but now, He has "spoken unto us by his Son" (Hebrews 1:1-2).

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)

The word translated "way" means road. Jesus is the road to God. The Bible is clear. Jesus did not lie. There is no salvation or access into Heaven without receiving Jesus Christ.

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

The Bible clearly teaches there is only one name by which people can be saved. That name is not Buddha, Confucius, or Mohammed, but the Lord Jesus Christ.

Surely Denominationalism does not differs from God's Plan?

God's plan involves all of the body(the church).
Denominationalism changes God's plan by adding the concept of denominational affiliations - associations of local churches that contain some of the saved but not all of the saved - organizations that are more than just local churches, but less than the universal church. Denominations were unknown in the Bible. They constitute an addition, a change in God's plan. Most people can easily read their Bibles and see that this is so.
What difference does it make?
Any man is accursed if he preaches a gospel different from what is revealed in the New Testament. But denominationalism is different from the gospel. It is nowhere authorized in the gospel.
Whoever does not abide in Jesus' doctrine does not have God. (2 John 9)
Is denominationalism part of Jesus' teaching? No! It is not revealed in His word. Therefore, those who practice this unauthorized change have not God!  (Rev. 22:18,19)

The church is part of God's eternal wisdom in the Bible (Eph. 3:10-11).
Denominations are not in the Bible, so they must have come from men. If we participate in them, we are followers of men, and of of God.
We must not lean on our human wisdom, but must trust in God to guide us. There are ways that seem right to men, but their end is death.  Human traditions and commands make our service to God vain or empty. Everything religiously which God did not plant will be rooted up. By whose command do denominations exist? Who planted them some of you might accuse such men as Peter, but he promoted simply a Messianic following, or maybe you would accuse Paul, he also promoted a following of the Messiah nothing more nothing less. For you see they already had a religion and that was Judaism. Since there is no where in God's written Word or any of his followers made any statement of creating a new denomination it can only mean one thing. Denominations were simply the ideologies of men,not based on God's word but the feelings and thoughts of men.. Are we then not in danger, for our worship and service must be  God first and foremost. Let every mouth confess that Christ is Lord, for we are all told every knee shall bow, yet many among you are bowing now to  a denomination that was sanctioned by  but by man.

Image if you will for a second to come home to a construction crew tearing up your living room, simply because your neighbor over heard you say you hated the floors in your house and wished they were removed. So the site boss explains to you that your neighbor hired them to come in and remove all your hard wood floors and put down carpet. Are you confused as to why your neighbor would take it upon themselves to do this without your permission???

Is it a divided house, or just a house with many rooms?

The concept of a denomination, as commonly believed today, involves all the following elements:
* Each denomination is an affiliation or confederation consisting of a number of local churches. (Southern Baptist, Calvary Chapel, Catholic. Methodist, etc...)
* Each denomination has its own peculiar name, doctrine, organization, plan of worship, etc., which distinguishes it from other denominations.
* Each denomination claims it is composed of Christians, but it does not claim to contain all faithful Christians. Each denomination believes there are faithful children of God in other denominations. "There are saved people in all the denominations." "We're all going to heaven, just by different routes."
Okay stop, the bus in case any of you didn't catch that. let try it again:"We're all going to heaven, just by different routes." Hmm, There is only one way to heaven, and that is through Jesus Christ.by Lee Strobel. Okay is Lee Strobel  contradicting these denominatsionlist? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6) Wait a second is Christ also saying that there is only one path to Heaven? So why do we have all these denomination again? oh wait I know,"One church is as good as another." It's just a matter of personal preference, like different kinds of cars, colors of clothes, etc. So "join the church of your choice." Didn't know Christ was like Mcdonalds that you could have salvation the way you wanted it.  To bad someone didn't tell Job that cause I'm sure he would choose not to suffer, or told Jeremiah that it really was all about his wants and desires instead of God's will being done.
Ask any informed denominationalist, and he will confirm what we have said. Ask: "Are there saved Christians in your denomination?" He will say, " Why of course." Ask: "Are there Christians in other denominations, who will go to heaven?" He will say, "Certainly there are." Ask: "Does one have to be a member of your denomination to go to heaven?" He will say, "No." So each denomination claims to consist of some Christians, but not all Christians.
A denominational preacher once said the following in a letter:
"There is only one 'holy Christian Church,' of which Christ is the Head, but it is now made up of many denominations ... But faith in Christ is the first criterion of membership in the holy Christian Church, and we feel that such believers can be found in all Christian denominations."

Which denomination Would Christ Choose???

In todays society, there are approximately 38000 Christian denominations in the world. All claiming to be Christian. Yet they are divided and contradict one another.  How is that possible when we are told by Christ that a house divided will not stand?  Yet among the so call Christian faiths there is  doctrine differences  that keep denominations from even fellowship together and in some parts of the world this Christian groups are willing and have been know to have caused bodily harm to one another, based on the fact they are not of the same denomination.

If we really want to please God, however, we must forsake what we want and practice what He wants.
Man's whole duty is to fear God and keep His commands. We should be determined to do God's will, not our own. (Ecclesiastes 12:13)
To follow Jesus one must deny himself. True religion does not consist of what pleases us. It is entirely a question of what pleases God. (Matthew 16:24)

Heavenly Father let our eyes and heart be on you, and not a denomination, for it was not a denomination that saved a sinner like me, but the precious blood of Christ.   Denominations have taken away from the real light of the world which is Yeshua (The Messiah/The Christ). Not the first Baptist Ebernizer Holy Light Evanglic Church of Christ(fake name)  One type of Christian one Messiah one faith.  I've heard the explanation that some Pastors and others give for why we have many denominations. Yet if I use that same excuse, to say that there should be many paths to Christ, I would be called a liar and false teacher.  Which would be true for there is only one way to Heaven and that is through Yeshua the son of Yahweh.  Yet we have thousands of denominations, because of men's ideologies. Each denomination is simply based on the ideologies of men, not the word of God. Christ did not preach denomination because he was a Jew and he knew whom he worshipped and where.  He did not create the Catholic faith, nor the Baptist, nor Methodist, nor Apostolic  or any other of man's self created denomination.   If there was a true denomination for believers to have followed it would have been the Messianic faith simple put (followers of the Messiah). Heaven want be divided off into denomination, it will only contain the truly faithful.

I bet you think God has forgotten about you

Many of us as we  look back over our past we find mistakes and painful advents that took place in our lives, often times we base our present existence on those actions.  There are many among you that carry scars that have never healed. Many among are viewing their present plight and as hard as you have endeavored you seemly have not been able to overcome.

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD,"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

The story of Joseph being sold into slavery by his brothers. I'm sure it didn't look to Joseph
that God cared or even remembered him at this point, for now he was a slave taken from his Father his land and his family, where was his God in all this?  Was God again an absent Father? Surely Joseph cried out many nights to the Lord to return him back to his father, but God did not answer him.
Joseph surely thought what many of us have, "Why did you let this happen to me, God?" No doubt things looked clearer to Joseph later on when he was ruling Egypt and was able to save his entire family from starvation. (Genesis 45-50) Often life may seem confusing and out-of-control. But don't
despair. God has a plan for you which He is working out. If you could only see the end He has in mind for you, it might not seem that what is going on in your life is going to work out for your good and the glory of God but it will. Hold on, don't give up don't give into the lies of the devil.  I have found myself many times  under his attack in my finances my health etc.., All with the intent to get me to loose faith and take my eyes off of Christ. Without some rain how could you truly appreciate the sun shine. I know for many of you, it more like a flash flood than just some rain. Hold on to God's unchanging hand for he has not forgotten you, know that you are not a mistake nor have you been forsaken, cry out to him oh Sons of God, cry out to him oh daughters of the Most High.

Are you a Help Mate to your spouse???

An important part of God's purpose for marriage was to have a help mate, someone to love and to encourage us. Not to have a maid, a beast of burden, or a pack mule, or a man slave, but a mate an equal. Do you treat your spouse that way?  Do you know your spouse's needs without him or her having to tell you?  Do you know how they desire to be loved? Or just how you, desire to give love?

"Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing." (Ephesians 5:24)
(God did not intend for this to be one-sided. A husband also should help his wife. Otherwise, a husband would not love his wife as Christ loves the church.
"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it " (Ephesians 5:25.)

Okay guys relax, this does not excuse the wife from also remember that she must support and encourage her husband also, for he is the head of the house and he is to love his wife as Christ did to the church and die for her if necessary.  Wives do you welcome your husband home with a kiss and a kind word? Or is guess what the kids did now?  Do either  of you welcome the other one home in love and concern for how their day went? Well do you? We all need help and encouragement. Sadly, for most people, that is often not at all what they receive from their spouse.

Your spouse, whether you know it or not, desperately wants and needs your help, your encouragement, and your support.

Are all spouses perfect and deserving of encouragement and support?  No one is perfect. None are, I speak for myself not sure why my wife even married someone like me. I'm very structured and demand that my home and my kids and myself be that way. Easy if you grew up in a military family not easy for a California blond, yet she endeavors daily to be a reflection of Christ for me and our children !  We all make mistakes. Especially in those times, it is important that we have someone to encourage us and help us to believe we can go on and do better. God meant for you and I to be that someone to help our spouse.

Don't fall into the trap of waiting until your spouse starts being nice to you. God's law works in this area, too: whatever you give, you will receive. So the best way to get your spouse to treat you better is to treat them better.

God does not expect you to love and help your spouse solely with your own love, but to allow God to pour His perfect love through you. God loves your spouse  enough to die for them  and desires to express that love through you. If your spouse would not describe you as their encourager, friend, and a great help to them  you are missing God's plan. You need to be your mate's biggest supporter and biggest fan each of us needs to feel like we are not alone and that our mate especially is on our side.

Yes, this can be hard. Yes, you have no doubt suffered  at their hands but the old saying is that  "Love hurts" normally the persons closes to us can harm us the greatest. Yes, they have hurt you and you probably don't feel like being a blessing to them after what they have done to you. But none of this changes the Word of God and His plan. Whenever you find direction in God's Word that seems difficult or impossible, your approach should always be to ask God to help you. "Lord, I see in your Word that you want me to do
this, but I need your help. Help me to love them. I pray that you Oh Lord will work through me and allow me to be a living reflection of you and that I might be able to show them the true love of Christ, for my love is  and certainly flawed for I'm flawed and I'm weak but through you I'm made perfect so let my love for my spouse be perfect also as you are perfect ."
