Try Jesus

The great deceiver  wants you and I to believe that God is evil and is punishing you and that he is always ready to throw his holy wrath down upon you.  God does not hate you he hates sin because it places a wall between Himself and you. He wants like any parent to be as close to you as possible.

"Oh taste and see that the Lord is good, Blessed is the man who trust in Him"! (Psalms 34:8)

We must, as Scripture admonishes, taste and see that the Lord is good. Unless you have a relationship with God, you won't  know how good He is, what do you have to lose by trusting in the Lord.. After all you don't have any issues with  porn or have a drinking problem, your wife and you never fight and your kids are perfect. Since your life is that good then I could see why you have no need for God. But my life is not that good even my issues have issues, so I need God to be who he says he is, cause without that I'm lost and I have no hope outside of Jesus Christ.

What it means to be Christian

Franklin Graham ask a question that I felt is one each of us should be asking.

Franklin start off by telling us about a  cab ride he had. " I was in a cab when I asked the driver about his faith. He replied that he was a Christian, and I asked him how he became one. I’ll never forget his reply: “Oh, I was born a Christian.” But those who belong to Christ know that it’s impossible to be born a Christian because we start out with a sin-infected nature, lost and separated from God.
People often use the term “Christian” as simply a category for describing someone’s cultural, religious, or family heritage. Other people believe that a person is a Christian because he or she attends church or was raised in a godly home. For still others, the term “Christian” is no more than a box to check off on an application or survey form.
So what is a Christian? Jesus said that His true followers are those who have been “born again” by the Spirit of God. When a Jewish religious leader named Nicodemus came to talk with Jesus one night, he declared that God was with Jesus because of all the miraculous signs Jesus performed. Jesus had this penetrating response: “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. … Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit” (John 3:3, 6).
The phrase “born again” in Scripture literally means “to be born from above”—a spiritual rebirth. A Christian is a man, woman, or child who has experienced a spiritual new birth through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. That new birth is a gift of God, through Jesus Christ, given by the grace He freely offers to all.
Some believe you can be born into a faith. For example, a child born to Muslim parents is considered a Muslim by many people. A son or daughter born to a Jewish mother is typically considered to be a  Jew, and someone born into a Christian family is often assumed to be a Christian. No one, however, is ever automatically a Christian by birth. To be a Christian, you must make a conscious choice to turn from your sins—that’s repentance—and by faith believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who loved us, paid the price of our sins on Calvary’s cross, shed His blood and died, was buried, and was raised to life on the third day.
The Word  says, “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him” (1 John 4:9). The Bible also says that “if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). The moment we do so, the Holy Spirit makes us alive in Christ, imparting the gift of eternal life, and making us entirely new creatures in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
How do we tell if it’s real in our lives? The Bible says, “We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, ‘I know him,’ but does not do what he commands, … the truth is not in him” (1 John 2:3–4).
A Christian, then, is a person who is born again by the Spirit of God as he or she wholeheartedly trusts in Jesus Christ and seeks to follow Him in obedience. There is no other way to the Father, no other way to be a Christian, than through personal faith in the Son of God. “I am the way and the truth and the life,” Jesus said. “No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
Hundreds of young people became Christians at each of our Rock the River evangelistic events in three major Canadian cities in August. As they heard the Gospel, the Holy Spirit convicted them of sin, and they repented. They turned in faith to Jesus Christ, were born again, and received new, resurrection life.
Please remember to pray for me as I preach the Gospel in Osaka, Japan, this month and in Eastern Europe later in the fall. Satan wants to take as many people to Hell with him as he can, but God wants all to repent and turn from their sin so they can enjoy eternity in Heaven with Him. The Bible says that God “is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).
Your faithful intercessory prayers make you a shareholder in the great work of evangelism and discipleship. This is all we do, because becoming a follower of Christ through the new birth is the most important step a person can make in this life, and for the life hereafter.
I’m sure there is someone you know—maybe a loved one or close friend—who has not experienced the new birth in Jesus Christ. I encourage you to continue in your prayer for that person and to ask the Lord for fresh opportunities to talk about what it means to be Christian. You might even share this letter with someone who needs to know."
After hearing about Bishop Eddie Long being accused of "inappropriate behavior"I felt the question needs to be posed by each of us to each of us as to what is a Christian?  If Christ came back what would he find you doing?  Would he find you in the jail ministering to the lost?  Would he find you at the hospital caring for the sick? Would he find you among the elderly caring and loving on them. Would he find you among the homeless and the fatherless?
Fancy cars, big houses, attractive women, jewelry and mega churches is that what being a Christian is all about? If you truly want to know what a follower of Christ entails, pick up your cross and follow him. For the road is rough but the path is straight and  the reward is eternal life. For there will be no more tears no more pain in the place Christ wants to lead us too.

What must I do to be saved

" And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. 28 But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.”
Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas.
And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:27-31)

This was Paul's answer to the trembling jailer's question: "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" (v. 30). To our modern sophisticated ears, such terms as being "saved" may sound strange and out dated, but there is no more accurate term than this to describe the miracle that happens when a person becomes a redeemed by he blood of the lamb and is "born again."

Before being saved, he is under God's condemnation because of sin, destined for hell; but when he believes on the Messiah (the Christ), he is "saved from wrath through him" (Romans 5:9). Not only is he saved from eternal wrath, he is saved to eternal life. Christ is "able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them" (Hebrews 7:25).

This great salvation is not achieved by good works of any kind or number, "for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost" (Titus 3:5).

Although being saved is God's gift to man, its cost was infinite to Christ. "If, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life" (Romans 5:10).

The price of our salvation was the shed blood of Christ, the only begotten Son of God, and the greatest of all sins--the one for which there is no forgiveness--is that of rejecting Him. "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). He is our great redeemer our Savior, and only He can save, he did what no man could have or will ever be able to do! He paid the kinsmen redeemers debt in full.   Thank you !!!! Thank you for loving us so much. Thank you for the price you paid for a sinner like me.

The Way of man

"O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps." (Jeremiah 10:23)

A nineteenth-century poet boasted: "I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul." The twentieth-century Humanist Manifesto proclaims: "No deity will save us; we must save ourselves." A popular song proudly asserts: "I did it my way!"

The fact is, however, that humanism has failed. Whether exercised at the level of government paternalism or individual self-sufficiency, the notion that any man or group of men can make decisions and go their own ways with no regard to the will of their Creator is arrogant foolishness. "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death" (Proverbs 14:12).

God does have a will for both men and nations. "In times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways. . . . And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent" (Acts 14:16) (Acts 17:30). It would make a tremendous impact for world peace and national happiness if only our national and world leaders would formulate their policies in accordance with the revealed will of God, through His Word.

But this ideal may never be approached until Christ Himself returns. In the meantime, He has promised guidance in each individual life when that life is truly yielded to His will. No man can really "direct his steps," as our text points out, but "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and . . . none of his steps shall slide" (Psalm 37:23, 31).

God's will is always in accordance with His Word, of course, for He cannot contradict Himself. We can therefore confidently act on His promise: "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths" (Proverbs 3:6).

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)

The verb "to be," in its various forms and tenses, enjoys wide usage throughout Scripture. Verses employing it, as it relates to us, contain many of the greatest and most precious truths. Consider the following sampling:

Past tense: "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). "When we were enemies, we were reconciled to God". "You hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins" (Ephesians 2:1). "You, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled" (Colossians 1:21).

Present tense: "Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven" (Romans 4:7). "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God?" (1 Corinthians 3:16). "Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation" (1 Peter 1:5). "By the grace of God I am what I am" (1 Corinthians 15:10). "Beloved, now are we the sons of God" (1 John 3:2). "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him" (Colossians 2:9-10). Note also our text verse.

Future tense: "It doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is" (1 John 3:2). "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 4:17). "And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. . . . and they shall reign for ever and ever" (Revelation 22:3-5).

In Everything Give Thanks

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16)

Have you giving thanks to God today? You should.

Sometimes  life doesn't go our way there is no excuse. The Word of God clearly says that God's will for you is to be thankful -- always.

The Word of God does NOT teach that we're to thank God for evil, because God is not responsible for evil. No, God is not guilty of any wrongdoing.

What the Word does teach, is that we should always be thankful   even when evil happens. Being thankful is part of an attitude of faith, and faith will overcome evil. Look at Job  he said naked did I come into this world and naked shall I leave, everything I have is GOd's anyway. There is a man who had a right if any man to feel upset with what was happening to him. The Hebrew bible tells that Job was an upright man, this is how God himself identified Job, yet Job had struggles would be to put it lightly he lost it all and even his wife turned her back on this man.

God doesn't do bad things to people. He's not the one who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. That's the devil, and people motivated by selfishness and demonic influence. So you have the devil "to thank" for the bad things in life.

Yet, during the bad things in life, we are to continue thanking God, no matter how we feel. This helps us keep our eyes on God and keep things in perspective.

No matter how dark and hopeless the situation may look give thanks. This is God's will for you.

"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." (Joshua 1:8)

This well-known verse contains the first use of the Hebrew verb for "meditate" (hagah) in the Bible and, significantly, it is a command to meditate on the Scriptures. Such meditation is not mere quietness or daydreaming, but is thoughtfulness with a purpose--to obey "all that is written therein."

Meditation for its own sake, without being centered on God's Word, is often useless or even harmful. Witness the Western proliferation of Eastern "meditation cults"  in recent years, which lead their devotees into pantheism and occultism. Isaiah 8:19 warns against "wizards that peep, and that mutter [same word as 'meditate']." "Why do . . . the people imagine a vain thing?" (Psalm 2:1).

The blessed man is the one whose "delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night" (Psalm 1:2). That is, only if we are continually guided by the Holy Scriptures will we be happy and successful.

In the New Testament, the Greek word for "meditate" (melatao) is used only twice. Once, it is translated "imagine" (Acts 4:25) and is in a quotation of Psalm 2:1, as above. The last time it is used, however, its emphasis reverts back to the context of its first usage, as in our text above. Paul commands us: "Give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. . . . Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all" (1 Timothy 4:13, 15). Modern meditationists say that the goal of meditation is to clear our minds of "things," but God wants us to meditate on "these things"--the life-giving, life-directing doctrines of His Word, to meditate on him and to know without a doubt that your putting your trust in the one and true God

Its not about titles

The body is composed of many parts, there is a place for everyone. A matter of fact the Word of God tells us that the harvest is plenty but the workers few. So there is always room for one more at the table room for one more in the field. Want you come join us????

Not content

"I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High." (Isaiah 14:14)
These are two of the "I will's" of Satan--or Lucifer--as he aspired to usurp the throne of God as ruler of the universe ( Isaiah 14:12-15);( Ezekiel 28:11-17). Not content to be "the anointed cherub," the highest of the angelic hierarchy (Ezekiel 28:14), he wanted to be God, and this monstrous pride became "the condemnation of the devil" (1 Timothy 3:6), so that he is now "fallen from heaven" and will soon be "brought down to hell" (Isaiah 14:12, 15).
Lucifer, of course, is not the Creator, for he was "created" (Ezekiel 28:15) himself. It would seem therefore that for him to rationalize his ambition to be like the most High, he must somehow persuade himself that he is like the most High--that is, that God is a created being like himself, and thus can be defeated. He only had God's word that he had been created by Him, and he evidently chose not to believe what God said (just as do multitudes of men and women today).
He, like they, chose rather to believe that the eternal cosmos had somehow created them all by its own powers. The great cosmos (call it Mother Nature, perhaps) has "created" spirit beings, as well as men and women, and all the worlds inhabited by them. In this scenario, the true Creator God is viewed as only one of many. Therefore He is vulnerable to defeat--or so Satan evidently believes.
Thus Lucifer became the first evolutionist, and this great lie by which he deceived himself became the basis of his later deception of Eve and then of the founders of all the varied pantheistic religions of the world, as well as modern evolutionism and "New Age" philosophies. Nevertheless, God is still on His throne, and "the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings"

One day the world shall see him for who he is truly is a liar who was not content with God's authority, with all that our Heavenly Father provides for us we are still not content.   He gave us life, he gives us new grace and mercy each day, he promised that he would never leave nor forsake us.  Why is that not enough for many of us?  What about the shedding of blood at Calvary was that enough for you?  Not really because there is still complaining among us in the church to this day. Because Deacon So and So got a new BMW or sister So and So  just got a new home, why can't God do that for me.  Your heavenly Father said he fore-knew you  meaning before you were a twinkle in your mother's eye.  Its time we learned to be content with the blessing that God has given us.

"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." (Isaiah 1:18)
Did you know that your Heavenly Father desires to reason with you because  he is a reasonable God, and our faith is a reasonable faith, based on sound evidence. It is not a credulous faith like that of the evolutionist who blindly believes either in the god of chance or in some sort of cosmic consciousness.
"Be ready always to give an answer [that is, an apologetic, a reasoned defense of our faith] to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear" (1 Peter 3:15).

But how can it be reasonable that one whose deeds have been crimson with sin could ever be made "white as snow"? That in itself is not humanly possible and that is exactly why only God himself could pay the sinners debt ! .
"the things which are impossible with men are possible with God" (Luke 18:27). What seems incredible to human wisdom is altogether reasonable to the Almighty, for all things are possible for He who created both the heavens and the earth and all that is upon it.. He is God and God all by Himself so there not is impossible for him. "Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men"
(1 Corinthians 1:25).

This divine wisdom is centered in the sacrificial death and victorious resurrection of Christ, our Redeemer, who "loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood" (Revelation 1:5). As a result, now our "reasonable service" to Him is for each of us to offer ourselves to Him as "a living sacrifice" (Romans 12:1).

A Message to the Homeless in Bremerton (Forgiveness)

FORGIVENESS  is defined as: choosing to pardon, remit, or overlook the mistake, fault, offense, hurt or injury of the offender without demanding, a penalty, punishment or retribution.
Whatever  your monetary status might be,   whatever level your education might be at  each of us needs to  receive  forgiveness from God and from one another. In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus showed his recognition of this by including our request for God's forgiveness, and our offer of it to others.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. (Matthew 6:12)
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; (Colossians 2:13-14)
The Cost of Forgiveness is "never free," though it can and should be freely given to others. Let me explain. When a person is forgiven, the one who extends the forgiveness chooses to accept the pain of the offense and foregoes the right of retribution or retaliation. The one doing the forgiving PAYS the price. He or she endures the hurt and suffers the sorrow in order to forgive you.
. The blood Jesus Christ shed on the cross pays the payment for your sins. Since Christ paid the price for our sins, God does not demand that the punishment we deserve be carried out, if Christ is our Savior. The work of Christ on the cross is sufficient for the Father to forgive all our sins.  If you accept him as your savior you are Forgiven.
What I want to talk to you about tonight is the problem of you learning and accepting to forgive yourself, for your past mistakes.  So you messed up, big deal, so you went to jail, so to hear that, so you were addicted to drugs or alcohol , is that it?  If my God can forgive you of this sins, it take you let go it and give it to him.  Stop holding your blame for things God  doesn’t not even blame you for.  Or maybe your someone who has not forgotten past pains caused by parents or someone you loved and trusted.  Give it God

"I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgression unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin." (Psalm 32:5)

Satan Shares His views of the Church

IF

Scripture says we are a Body -- not just that we are "like a body." You ARE connected to everyone who acknowledges Christ as Lord -- whether you like them, or think they are necessary, or not. Whatever happens to ANY member of the Body does have an affect on EVERY member.

Remember this the next time you are tempted to speak ill of another believer, or mistreat them. Even if they don't believe exactly like you, or go to the same church they are still connected to you in Christ. So be nice to your Body!

The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up
only one body. So it is with the body of Christ. (1 CORINTHIANS 12:12)

Suppose the whole body were an eye--then how would you hear?
Or if your whole body were just one big ear, how could you
smell anything?
But God made our bodies with many parts, and he has put each
part just where he wants it. (1 CORINTHIANS 12:17-18)

The eye can never say to the hand, "I don't need you." The
head can't say to the feet, "I don't need you."
In fact, some of the parts that seem weakest and least
important are really the most necessary. (1 CORINTHIANS 12:21-22)

Now all of you together are Christ's body, and each one of
you is a separate and necessary part of it. (1 CORINTHIANS 12:27)

How many of walk around in public saying your stupid your stupid your stupid and are referring to yourself?
How many of you would stand in front of a mirror and repeatedly punch yourself in the face?
How many of you would walk up to a stranger and ask to be kicked repeatedly in the head?
Yet we who are apart of the body hurt others who are also apart of the body, a young man by the name of David told me of how a member of the body hurt him and his family, the scares have pushed him and his father away from their Heavenly Father.  Which is not what the body is supposing to do.  I've never heard the hands plotting with the eyes to get the legs.  We need to not just say brother or sister but really mean it. My brother Don likes to say I want to see my brothers a 1000 years from now in heaven, do you feel that way too?  Cause if we are the body isn't it about time we start doing some healing than continue in the hurting.

The world shall know that you are mine by the love you have one for another,  is that true? Do people at your work place know who are Christians, no not because you say you are a Christian but because of the love of Christ that is reflected from you daily and the other Christians at your work. Do your neighbors know your family are Christians not because you said it, but because you live it?

If we are his Children does that not make him our Father???

I was ask a question the other day by a scholarly friend of mine, who is a follower of Yeshua (the true name of Jesus) What name is the real  name of God and which one do I use when praying. I had never pondered such things in great detail. Once but simply for a class in the study of the four gospels but not really beyond that.

Yahweh,  Elohim, Adonai, are names the Jews used for God . We English speakers use God, Father, and Jesus are all appropriate names by which to call upon the true and living God. He knows them that are His own, for He called them to Himself, and He knows perfectly our thoughts and to whom we are directing our prayers. He knows for certain that if we are indeed His own, we are praying to Him.

"Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, 'Abba, Father.' For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children." (Romans 8:15-16).

More importantly, He knows our inadequacy to pray the right things to the extent that He knows of what we should be asking. We can be confident that through the Holy Spirit, we can pray in harmony with His will.

"And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will" (Romans 8:26-27).

The burden is not on the Christian to call Him by the right name per se, but to call upon Him and to pray by the leading of the Holy Spirit, who will direct our prayer according to God's will.
---
Please note: Jesus did say that if we ask of God anything in His name... but there is no division between asking of God by the leading of the Holy Spirit and using (or not using) Jesus' name. Contrary to popular belief, the speaking or invocation of His name is not a magic formula that makes the prayer valid or effective. If the person is covered in Christ's righteousness  is a (believer) aka Christian, God will honor the prayers as they will be in concert with His will and Spirit.

In short, there is no iron-clad distinction between using any of the divine names to refer to God in prayer. It is His Spirit and His righteousness abiding upon the person asking in prayer that gets His attention.

Father, we come to you with all things ask you to grant us your truth not the ideologies of men, grant us the wisdom to seek you early each day and seek you in the midnight hour to Cry to out our Father for we thirst for knowledge of you, we thirst be close to you.  Send no one a way who comes seeking you Father, grant them understanding of who you are and who we are in you.

Are you a brother or sister in Christ to others???

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.  (Galatians 6:2)
Tell me what hour is to late?  which day is a bad day for you? I ask this question because a brother shared with me today that he had received a call from a brother from his church but felt he wanted to watch TV and rest since he had a long day at work and his wife was complaining about something.  The next day he checked the message and brother had asked for him to please call him back that he really need to talk to someone.  Sadly my brother did not know that this brother suffered from major depression. Do you see where this about to go? The brother took his life because depression is a dark place the enemy wants to put people and make them feel like life is not worthy living. Sadly that brother bought the lie and is no more.

I'm far from a saint but I tell my brothers to call me day or night if they need me, but sadly I would not call those same brothers if I were hurting simply because I feel they have enough to deal with.  Or maybe its late or night. Or maybe it would upset their wives.  If you were on Facebook  and you saw I was hurting would you call me?  If I didn't come to church on Sunday would come check on me?  If you saw me walking the street late at night would you stop?  If you saw me coming out of a bar late at night drunk would  inquire about why I was there?

Now when Job’s three friends heard of all the evil which had come upon him, they came, each from his own place: Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuite and Sophar the Naamathite. They agreed to come together, visit him and console him. When they saw him from afar, they did not recognize him and raising their voices; they wept and they rent their robes and sprinkled dust upon their heads heavenward.  And they sat with him on the ground seven days and seven nights, and no one spoke a word to him for they saw that his suffering was very great. (Job 2: 11-13)

Lord God help me to love on my brothers, help me to stand with my brothers through their storms, and most of grant me the strength to hold my brother up when he is not able to stand on his own.  Lord grant each of us as men the wisdom to ask for help, grant us the ear to hear those men that have been crying out in silence.  Let treat our brothers as we would treat Christ.

Yahweh-Raphah:
"The Lord Who Heals" (Exodus 15:22-26). From rophe ("to heal");
implies spiritual, emotional as well as physical healing. God heals body, soul and spirit.

When God first revealed Himself to the people of Israel after their deliverance from Egypt, He called Himself "the Lord Who Heals."
He didn't just describe Himself as a healer -- He actually gave Himself that name. In Exodus we God making the following declaration "For I am the LORD who heals you."

One of God's names is "The One Who Heals" or we could just say "Healer."
Certainly God heals physically. Yet we should not limit our thinking on this. God heals, or makes whole and sound, everything that He touches. (So, if we need healing, our plan should be to get closer to God.)
The idea of making whole and sound is what we should focus on. God, by His nature, makes things whole. He IS a healer. A healer of bodies, of minds, of relationships, of nations  whatever needs making whole and sound. The important point is to realize that we need not convince God to heal, because that is His very nature.

Wellesley, Massachusetts Public School Students Learn to Pray to Allah

As Christian how long do you sit with your head in the sand?  Do you know what is going on at your child school?  Have you ever even seen a Qur'an (Koran) do you know what it says about you and I?

A Memo from your Father to you

Yea, Yea Yea I know I posted this one before, but I had to repost it, something about this I just want to make sure that we all get it!!!!!

So did you get it???
 You know what !!!
Did you get the memo???
Okay just in case you didn't here it is :)

MEMO FROM GOD:

Effective immediately, please be aware that there are changes you need
to make in your life. These changes need to be completed in order that I
may fulfill my promises to you to grant you peace, joy and happiness in
this life. I apologize for any inconvenience, but after all that I am doing, this seems very little to ask of you. I know, I already gave you the 10 Commandments. Keep them. But follow these guidelines, also.

1. QUIT WORRYING
Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit and worry. Have you
forgotten that I am here to take all your burdens and carry them for
you? Or do you just enjoy fretting over every little thing that comes
your way?

2. PUT IT ON THE LIST
Something needs done or taken care of. Put it on the list. No, not YOUR
list. Put it on MY to-do-list! . Let ME be the one to take care of the
problem. I can't help you until you turn it over to me. And although my
to-do-list is long, I am after all, God. I can take care of anything you
put into my hands. In fact, if the truth were ever really known, I take
care of a lot of things for you that you never even realize.

3. TRUST ME
Once you've given your burdens to me, quit trying to take them back.
Trust in me. Have the faith that I will take care of all your needs,
your problems and your trials. Problems with the kids? Put them on my
list. Problem with finances? Put it on my list. Problems with your
emotional roller coaster? For my sake, put it on my list. I want to help
you. All you have to do is ask.

4. LEAVE IT ALONE
Don't wake up one morning and say, "Well,! I'm feeling much stronger now,
I think I can handle it from here." Why do you think you are feeling
stronger now? It's simple. You gave me your burdens and I'm taking care
of them. I also renew your strength and cove! r you in my peace. Don't you
know that if I give you these problems back, you will be right back where
you started? Leave them with me and forget about them. Just let me do
my job.

5. TALK TO ME
I want you to forget a lot of things. Forget what was making you crazy.
Forget the worry and the fretting because you know I'm in control. But
there's one thing I pray you never forget. Please don't forget to talk to
me - OFTEN! I love you. I want to hear your voice. I want you to include
me in on the things going on in your life. I want to hear you talk about
your friends and family. Prayer is simply you having a conversation with
me. I want to be your dearest friend.

6. HAVE FAITH
I see a lot of things from up here that you can'! t see from where you
are. Have faith in me that I know what I'm doing. Trust me, you wouldn't
want the view from my eyes. I will continue to care for you, watch over
you, and meet you! r needs. You only have to trust me. Although I have a
much bigger task than you, it seems as if you have so much trouble just
doing your simple part. How hard can trust be?

Yahweh Yireh (Lord Provider)

Yahweh Yireh  The Lord will provide. Yahweh Yireh, which is translated the "Lord Provider".  Simple in and of itself, but the word "reh" actually means to see.  The word Yireh is then more accurately translated to see beforehand!  So it actually has the richer and deeper truth of His omniscience!  He is the Lord who sees our need beforehand and thus provides for us in every situation.  What a comfort to know that the Lord can and will provide for you because He has seen and knows your need far before you even knew you had one!  We are truly loved with an everlasting love - demonstrated on the cross, partaken of today.

Abraham named this place after Jehovah (Jehovahjireh ) for provided a ram to sacrifice in place of Isaac. (Genesis 22:14).
Jehovahjireh : as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen."

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)
The Lord will provide the word of God tells me that it never seen the children of God begging for bread.  So let us trust in the Lord with all of our heart and soul.

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? (Matthew 6:25-26)

Are you starting to see a theme here? My heavenly Father will provide, for he did not bring any of us this far to leave us. He did not leave Abraham on that mountain alone, he went with Abraham into the valley of death and Abraham did not fear instead he trusted in the Lord God and was blessed.  Isn't it time we start to trust in the Father, since we are his children, will he provide for his own???
To me this picture speaks volumes of our Lord and how he is our provider and he carries when we can not bare up our own burden.  Thank you for your provision for the body.

WHO IS YEHOVAH?

As the Gospel of John has established, the Godhead is composed of two Godly beings:
Theos - "The God" and "The Logos" - God's spokesman.  Yehovah is simply their surname - and applies to both these personages of the God Family - just as every member of any family all have the same last name.
"For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named"   (Ephesians 3:19
A name so sacred that it could not even be spoken out loud by the people of ancient Israel.
In the Hebrew scriptures it was represented by four letters called the Tetragrammaton" So this sacred name would be represented in English by the four letters - YHVH.  Since the vowels of the sacred name are not indicated and the name wasn't spoken out loud for centuries, the exact pronunciation has been lost. Many may debate over the true pronunciation of God's Holy Name. Some, pronounce it Yahweh -  Others say Jehovah. Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible tells us Yehovah - pronounced {yeh-ho-vaw'} - is the correct Hebrew  rendering.   should be aware of the true Hebrew names of our Father and our Savior, as well as the proper incidence of their Biblical usage
But I find fault in those who insist that these other renderings are just generic terms that should not be used.  Strong's Exhaustive Concordance tells us:  Jesus in Greek, is of Hebrew origin and is taken from the name Yehoshua, which in English is translated as Joshua(Jesus a bad translation of the true name of son of God in English we would simple address him as Joshua and the Jews would address him as Yeshua).  Yehoshua, in Hebrew means "Yehovah Saves".
Christ - in Greek, is Christos, meaning the Anointed One - or the Messiah.
Keep in mind this information is shared with you in the hopes to get you to seek out and discover more about our savior. How can we defend our faith if we do not understand it. I encourage each of you to study the old text and discover the God of Abraham the great provider, the Great I' AM, all parts of the whole which we know as our Heavenly Father. To learn of our savior and his name the name we are saved by to better explain to those who are lost and have not meet him or know him.  If you are ever blessed to read the Torah its like reading a love story or a family history, different from the English Old Testament .

Lord like you did with Mose's (Moshe) reveals yourself to us in a way that we have never known you. It is my prayer and hope that both Father and son would reveal themselves to us Lord God grant us the wisdom and insight to draw near to you as children. We come to you with open arms to receive what you would have to know.

El Roi (The God Who Sees Me)

El Roi is one of the biblical names of God found in the Hebrew Bible.
In the Hebrew bible in the Book of Genesis, Hagar called the divine protagonist, El Roi. Roi means “seeing". To Hagar, God revealed Himself as “The God Who sees".
Hagar is a distraught, frightened, pregnant, non-Israelite slave girl who encounters God in a desert, and feeling she has been miracuously aided by Him, calls him this name.
El Roi: The name El means “God, god, mighty one, strength". It is used to denote “either the generic name ‘god’ or ‘the God’ of Israel". In some instances of a significant encounter with Elohim, believers would form a compound of El and a word which described God’s revelation of Himself in that encounter.

Even the most watchful parent must sleep.  Scripture makes it clear our Heavenly Father neither  slumbers nor sleeps,  He is diligent ,He is aware of  all that happenings in your life and mine.
El Roi, a God so watchful that He is said to note even when the smallest sparrow falls to the ground. This is our Father who watches over us daily, whether or not you recognize his presence. He is aware of you though and the fact that we sometimes find ourself in desolate places, He is always near, helping us find a path through troubles, working out His plans for our lives. Lord thank you that you are always there that you will never leave us and that you care so dearly for us. Fill us with your spirit and may our steps be guide by you.  Thank you Father for loving us so much.

Adonai (master)

Hebrew word for "Lord"  he introduces himself to Moses in Exodus as Adonai in the Torah.  Did you know that  Adonai,  is used 439 times in the Hebrew Bible? In the Tetragrammaton YHWH appears approximately 6000 times in the Hebrew Scriptures. To avoid violating the commandment "You shall not take the name of Yahweh your God in vain" (Exodus 20:7), sometimes Adonai was used as a substitute for Yahweh (YHWH) or the vowels "a-o-a" were inserted between the letters "YHWH" to remind people to not pronounce the name "Yahweh"
Christian Bible translators have misinterpreted this to mean that God's name is Jehovah, which is the result of combining the vowels of 'Adonai' with the consonants YHWH (written using Latin orthography in which "J" and "V" are pronounced as the English "Y" and "W").  Adonai (Lord) means "master", "owner", or "sovereign ruler" and generally denotes the authority and position of God. Adonai is first used in (Genesis 15:2) where Abram asked, "Lord Yahweh [Adonai], what will You give me, seeing I go childless...?" The word Adonai, in reference to God, occurs 300 times in the Hebrew text especially in Isaiah, Ezekiel (200 times), and Daniel (10 times in the 9th chapter). It is usually written "Lord" in most English Bibles, "Jehovah" in the American Standard Version (ASV) of the Bible, and "Yahweh" or "Lord" in the online World English Bible.

Primarily, the name Adonai stresses man's relationship to God as his Master, Authority, and Provider. Some examples of where the name "Adonai" is used...

Yahweh [Adonai] appeared to him (Abraham) by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day. (Genesis 18:1)
He said, "No; but as prince of the host of Yahweh [Adonai] am I now come." Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship..." (Joshua 5:14)
Hannah answered, "No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but I poured out my soul before Yahweh [Adonai]." (1 Samuel 1:15)
Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth! Sing praises to the Lord [Adonai]! Selah.(Psalm 68:32)
In the year that king Uzziah died, I saw the Lord [Adonai] sitting on a throne, high and lifted up; and His train filled the temple . . . One called to another, and said, "Holy, holy, holy, is Yahweh of Hosts! The whole earth is full of His glory!" The foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of Him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.(Isaiah 6:1-4)See also (Exodus 4:10); (Judges 6:15); (2 Samuel 7:18-20); (Psalm 8, 114:7),  (Psalms 135:5),  (Psalms141:8), (Psalms109:21-28)

And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you. (Exodus 3:14)  I have in my library a copy of the Torah, and the Nevi'im and the Kethuvim and the Jewish bible, from these document was birth what we today call the Old Testament via Greek and Latin and many English translation.  For me to understand a thing, one must first go to the root or the beginning.  As I desire for my children to know me, I know my Heavenly Father desire for his children to know him. Adonai is one of the many aspect of our Father. Should each of not endeavor to know our Father better to love what he loves and hate what He hates.

Elyon (most high)

Elyon (Biblical Hebrew עליון'; Masoretic ʿElyōn; traditionally rendered in Samaritan as illiyyon) is an epithet of the God of Israel in the Hebrew Bible. ʾ
The name ʿElyōn 'Most High' standing alone is found in many poetic passages, especially in the Psalms.

  For you have said in your heart:  I will ascend into heaven,  I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation  On the farthest sides of the north;  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,  I will be like the Most High.(Elyon)  (Isaiah 14:13–14)

’Elyōn is in other places firmly identified with God, as in 2 Samuel.
God thundered from heaven,
and the Most High (Elyon) uttered his voice. (2 Samuel 22:14)
Also:in Psalms in the Hebrew bible we  again the name of the Most High
For you, God, are Most High (ʿelyōn) over all the earth;
you are raised high over all the gods. (Psalms 97:9)

Please keep in mind I'm not trying to change you thought process on how you identify our Heavenly Father, but simply to understand what the names meant. When the Hebrews uttered Elyon it simply meant the Most High. This simple one more attribute of our Heavenly Father, as his child I want to know all I can about my Father as He is proud of me I'm also very proud of who my Heavenly Father and what he has and is still doing for his children.

Do you know why I worship God

Do you know why you worship God?  Or why you refuse to believe that He is who he said he is?

Where were you on 911

I remember I was on base, I was ending my 12 hour watch when I  sat in the galley waiting for the rest of my crew to meet before I dismissed them for the day. I turned on the TV and watched in disbelief, I watched and hate grew in me so strong but yet a fear for my wife was in Los Angeles and I felt it would be hit next. So I ran to a the phone and called my brother in law and told to get her out of LA now.  I was not able to leave the base not because the base was overwhelmed,  because all I could say to my chief is that we can not let this go unanswered they must pay. That day I was not a Christian, that day I was not your brother in Christ at that moment I was apart of the finest fighting force in the world  waiting for the call for us to deploy and to hear the CO say boys its time  to say lock and load. We had guys in the brig that said  they would gladly go and bring this fight to their door of our enemy.  Lord till this day I have not forgotten. Lord help me to forgive them that took the lives of  innocent civilians. They did not attack one of our Navy ships or a Spec Opts team or any branch of the military.  We must never forget this day, for those of you who did not loose a brother in arms on the battle field or son or husband or a daughter or wife or mother or a father. Remember
those who did say a prayer for them and great price that has been paid by for our freedom.

Dear Lord today I ask that you pour out your spirit on this nation today, let us join hands and lift up the name of our Heavenly Father let us give him thanks for keep this great nation, for California would have been hit also had it not been for God intercepting  those in Houston that had planned to attack LA. Which for most of us military came as no great surprise, I know it was God who stopped them.  Thank you Lord for all that you did that day to keep this nation whole.

Shaddai (almighty)

According  to the Torah in the book of Exodus chapter 6.  Shaddai is the name by which God was known to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The name Shaddai (Hebrew: שַׁדַּי) is used as a name of God later in the book of Job.  Shaddai was translated with words meaning "Almighty".   The Talmud explains it this way, but says that "Shaddai" stands for "Mi she'Amar Dai L'olamo" - "He who said 'Enough' to His world." When God was creating the world, He completed t the process.  It is often paraphrased in English translations as "Almighty" although this is an interpretive element. The name then refers to the pre-Mosaic patriarchal understanding of deity as "God who is sufficient." God is sufficient, that is, to supply all of one's needs, and therefore by derivation "almighty".

We see in Exodus chapter 3 we are introduced to the almighty,  And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. (Exodus 3:13-15)

Elohim (God, or authority)

Elohim is the commonly used name of God in the Hebrew Bible (Hebrew: אלהים).

The Name Elohim occurs 2,570 times in the Tanakh in such books as Isaiah 54:5; Jeremiah 32:27; Genesis. 1:1; Isaiah 45:18; Deuteronomy. 5:23. The word Elohim is the first name for God given in the Tanakh: “In the beginning, God (Elohim) created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). Did you know that Elohim name is mentioned 2,600 times in the Hebrew bible

In the traditional Jewish view, Elohim is the Name of God as the Creator and Judge of the universeHebrew grammar allows for this form to mean "He is the Power (singular) over powers (plural)". Eloah, Elohim, means "He who is the object of fear or reverence", or "He with whom one who is afraid takes refuge". Another theory is that it is derived from the Semitic root "uhl" meaning "to be strong". Elohim then would mean "the all-powerful One", based on the usage of the word "el" in certain verses to denote power or might.

“The Holy One, Blessed be He, said to those, You want to know my name? I am called according to my actions. When I judge the creatures I am Elohim, and when I have mercy with My world, I am named YHVH

I simply address him as Father, sometimes I address him as Dad, for I'm a living breathing testament of his love and mercy, for without him I would not be here now.  Thank you Lord for loving us even when we did not love you.  That is a mark of a true Father.

Elah (Hebrew: אֵלָה), (plural "elim")

It is the Aramaic word for “awesome“. Our God is an awesome God hmm that makes sense to me :).   Elah is found in the Tanakh in the books of Ezra, Daniel, and Jeremiah.

But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion. (Jeremiah 10:10-12)
Elah-avahati, God of my fathers, (Daniel 2:23)
Elah Elahin, God of gods (Daniel 2:47)
Elah Yerushelem, God of Jerusalem (Ezra 7:19)
Elah Yisrael, God of Israel (Ezra 5:1)
Elah Shemaya, God of Heaven (Ezra 7:23)

I believe that we need to understand whom we worship, otherwise we are like the woman in [John 4:21-23]
Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.  Father let us worship you with all our heart all of our being in truth and spirit. We praise you for you are worthy of the praises.

El (mighty one)

El, by itself, means a god. It also means "el one of power and authority and used for God in Genesis 1:1 in the Hebrew text.

elohe yisrael, "El the God of Israel".
And Israel (Jacob) took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.
And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.
And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation: (Genesis 46:1-3)"El the God of your father"

  – Etymologically, El appears to mean power,  El is associated with other qualities, such as integrity.

Which is why we are told that our Heavenly Father is the same today and forever more, he does not change. The same God that Jacob prayed to is the same God that we call upon for strength for direction, for redemption.  Elohe yisrael. we need you more than ever before to direct our steps and guard our hearts and minds.

Would you say you know God??? Really

Can anyone tell me what is God's name?   I speak to those among you who say you know God, if my lovely wife is asked who is that guy your married to. I would hope she wouldn't say my husband but address me by my name. I never like when I'm referred to as that black guy, for I have a name and I like to be addressed by it.

Greeks God name was : Zesus.
Islamic know their God by the name of: Allah.
Jews God name is:  (אֱלהִים)
Most religions have a God  he/she has a name.
What is your God name?

Well, Moses asked the same question, cause he wanted to know who he was about to follow.
1 Now Moses was pasturing the flock of Jethro His father-in-law, the priest of Midian; and He led the flock to the west side of the wilderness, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
2 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire from the midst of a bush; and He looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, yet the bush was not consumed.
3 So Moses said, "I must turn aside now, and see this marvelous sight, why the bush is not burned up."
4 When the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush, and said, "Moses, Moses!" And Moses said, "Here I am."
5 Then God said, "Do not come near here; remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground."
6 He said also, "I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Issac, and the God of Jacob." Then Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.
7 And the Lord said, "I have seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have given heed to their cry because of their taskmasters, for I am aware of their sufferings.
8 "So I have come down to deliver them from the power of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Amorite and the Perrizite and the Hivite and the Jebusite.
9 And now, behold, the cry of the sons of Israel has come to me; furthermore, I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians are oppressing them.
10 Therefore, come now, and I will send you to Pharaoh, so that you may bring my people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt."

11 But Moses said to God, "Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt?"

12 And He said, "Certainly I will be with you, and this shall be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall worship God at this mountain."

13 Then Moses said to God, "Behold, I am going to the sons of Israel, and I shall say to them, `The God of your fathers has sent me to you.' Now they may say to me, `What is His name?' What shall I say to them?"

14 And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM"
I AM Who I am

; and He said, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, `I AM has sent me to you.'"

15 And God, furthermore, said to Moses, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, `The Lord, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial-name to all generations." (Exodus 3: 1-15)

If you don't know your Father, how will the world know Him?
Perhaps that is why you have difficulty is sharing the gospel because you can't talk about someone you don't know?  I hope that is not the case, my wife would not be happy with me simply addressing her as  woman every time I referred to her as my wife.  We should want to know our Heavenly Father not only his true name but to know his heart so that we can be children after His Father's heart.

is your faith muscle in Atrophy???

How strong is your faith?  Yes I'm asking you this question.

Then Job arose and rent his robe; he shaved his head and he fell on the ground and worshipped. 21 He said: Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I shall return there; The Lord gave; the Lord has taken away. As God pleased, so it has been done. Blessed be the name of the Lord! In all these things, Job did not sin with his lips, nor did he say anything foolish against God. (Job 1:20-22)

In Thomas Aquinas Commentary on Job he points out to us the faith of this man called Job.  The Jewish Bible tells us About  the Job the man  and the virtue of Job have been described then his prosperity is shown so that the adversity which follows may be judged to be more grave because of the prosperity which precedes it. At the same time, this also demonstrates that not only spiritual goods but also temporal goods are given to the just from God’s first intention. But the fact just are sometimes afflicted with adversities happens for some special reason.

His wife said to him, "Are you still holding on to your integrity? Curse God and die!"
He replied, "You are talking like a foolish  woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?"
In all this, Job did not sin in what he said (Job 2:9-11)

Think Job's faith was tested his helpmate was not being a helpmate at this point. yet even though Job could not see, he remained in hope that God who was the author of his faith and his provider (Yahweh-yireh)

Yahweh-yireh (God) our provider?  When all else fails do you go to him on bended knees and cry out my God (Yahweh)  I need you?  I wish I had someone who knew what it was like to be running out of faith and  still no sign of God anywhere, but yet you hold on because you got nothing else but the hope and belief that God did not bring you this far to forsake you.

"Faith, for instance, is not positive thinking; that is something quite different. Faith is not a hunch that is followed. Faith is not hoping for the best" by Ray C. Stedman
"Faith is the confident belief or trust in the truth or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing  " Websters dictionary

Faith can best be describe like a muscle,  if you stop working out the muscle you developed will soon go into atrophy. For those of us who desire to turn fat into muscle we must begin to awaken that muscle and work it till it becomes stronger.  In the process of developing stronger muscles you will discover some pain, but the end result is that you will soon discover  that it is worth it.
How is your faith muscle?  Are you trepidated of having to use it? Ever wonder why is God doing this to me? Why doesn't he just fix it? Feel like you can't wait on the Lord any longer?  How strong is your faith?

Did you know that our Father loved a Sinner like me??? Well did you?

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, buthave everlasting life.( John 3:16)

Many people quote John 3:16 -- but how many us actually  believe it?

The Father never changes. If He loved the people of the world in the past -- He still loves them today. Yet many people think God is  mad at sinners  and that he hates the sinner, he like any Father is displeased by what he see's that the sin does to our lives.  His hands are tired because of free will, image if you can for a second, being a parent and watching your child hurt his or herself and not be able to do anything to stop it. But to say no Bill or Sue this not good this will hurt you.  Image after you do all that you can they still resist you and continue down a road that can only lead to harm to themselves all those around them.  That is what my Heaven Father goes through daily

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.(Romans 5:8)

Our Heavenly Father is NOT mad at us. He loves us enough to die for us! For a sinner is simply a Saint who has fallen down and not gotten back up, Christ is standing there with open arms ready to receive. Its time they accept they can get back up Christ is there with his hand stretched out to assist you. Just call upon his name, and he will not abandon you as the world does.  Of course, God doesn't want people to remain sinners. He loves them too much for that. Sin destroys. It brings death. But the gift of God is life -- and that gift is found in a Person: the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the best friend a sinner will ever have. They need to know that. Someone has to tell them the truth. They think Jesus hates them because they're a sinner and not perfect. (The devil already fed them that lie.)

Its time they knew the truth that our Father loved us when we yet his enemy and he loves them also, who will go and tell them this truth? Shall it be your pastor or your deacons the prayer warrior from your church?  Or how about you since you after all do work with them?  Who shall tell your family members?  Who shall tell your neighbors?  You say I don't know how to them, try first off doing it with love.

That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. (2 Corinthians 5:19)

Wait a second so the Word itself tells us to that God has committed us to the message of reconciliation?

Pew warmers, it time you realize it not about you, it about letting the lost know that they no longer have to walk in darkness.  Who told you the truth?  How did you come out of the darkness?  Did you think you were the last of the sinners to be saved?

Are we Parrots

A talking parrot begins by mimicking human sounds and other domestic noises. Then it goes on to imitating speech. When a Christian choose to act, think, speak  like the world he is simply choosing to be a Parrot.  Christ said we were to be in this world but not of it. Be not conformed to this world: but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Do we not mimic those things that we like or want to be like?  Though we are to be actively involved “in” the world to the degree that God will lead us to, we also have to realize and be very aware that we are not to become too much of an actual part “of” the world.  Yes we were given the great commission by Christ to share the gospel to all that we come into contact with, one of the best way we can do that is how we live our lives. What a better testimony than by the way we live to share with others Christ.  After all Christian is to be Christ like, a follower of Christ and his teachings.  When he was here on earth he ate with sinner but did not become a sinner, let us remember that, we can sit and eat with them but do not become involved in their dirty jokes etc... God is telling us to keep ourselves “unblemished” from the world. In other words, He does not want us to become spotted, contaminated, and tainted by the bad and evil things of this world. And the only way that we can keep ourselves from becoming too blemished and too contaminated from this world is not to get too deep and too friendly with the ways of this world.   “If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” (John 15:19)  “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” (1 John 2:15)

Let none of us be like a Parrot for we are not of this world nor should we cling to or the things of this world. Each of you were brought out of darkness into the marvelous light, do not return to it. For only dog will return to his vomit, you are the sons and daughters of a king conduct yourself as such.

I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days …” (Deuteronomy 30:19)
