Are you an effect ive witness for Christ????

Are you an effective witness for Christ??? Are you able to share the gospel with others?  Are you rooted in the word of God and have you a prayer life???  Watch this video though it is funny but its point is direct, check your life and see are you like this.

We must be Christ Centered

And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning,
the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
(Colossians 1:18)
True Christianity is not a religion based on rules and rituals,
but a living relationship with  Christ.

Many people reduce Christianity down to attending church
meetings and trying not to commit a list of certain sins.

But being a Christian is being united with Jesus, a member of
His body, with His life in your heart.

Christ should be your focus -- not religious activity -- For we are called
after Christ for we are called Christians,  which means
to be Christ like. Not Catholic like, or Baptist like , or Calvary like.
But Christ like, we are to live for Christ and only for Christ. Guess
girls and boys if was important which church we went we would all
be in trouble, because Christ never ordained or order another church
which means we would all be Jews going to temple on Saturday.
Lucky for us Christ is not concerned with buildings but with us.
For only true Church is inside of each of you, which is where the spirit of
the Lord dwells.

Church meetings, Bible reading, etc. can be good, but should
not be allowed to become an end in themselves. They are tools
to help us know Jesus and walk more closely with Him.

The Bible says we are to be faithful; but faithful to what: a
religious system, an organization -- or, a Person? Are you
serving Christ -- or serving something else as His substitute?

The focus of your life must be Christ .Paul said he would
preach only one thing Christ and he lived or died he counted it all
glory cause he knew he was doing it for Christ.

Tell me does Christ have a place in your life?
Does Christ have a place in your church or does your by laws
not have room for the creator of the universe?  Do the ideologies
of me leave room for Christ plain of redemption for man kind?
Stop  worrying about or talking about denomination for their is no
salvation in a denomination but in Christ himself and only in him.
The Word of God tells me there is no other name under heaven that
we can be saved by. Its Christ and only Christ, not in the Church of Christ
nor Ladder Day Saints etc... Say it with me people I'm redeemed by the blood of Christ.
Cause if it was a denomination we would have missed that boat by miles, since Christ was a
Jew and attended temple not Saturday Mass.  Take you eyes off of the devil deception and
put your focus on the savior.

Stand Firm In Faith.

As we submit and come under the authority of God's Word and God's Spirit, that authority comes upon us. We then speak that word as follows:
1) To God in prayer;
2) In the confession of our mouth;
3) To the devil in reproof
The Spirit Himself then moves to energize the word, and the enemy flees along with his lying thoughts and feelings.
We submit to God by filling our minds with His Word and our hearts with prayer. For every wrong, evil, negative thought the enemy would sow into our minds, there is a right, good, positive thought from God's Word.

Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.  Therefore  If your enemy is hungry, feed him;  if he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:17-21)

Every time the devil seeks to give us a push in the wrong direction, we need to push him back  twice as hard - with the truth and power of God's Word.  With the tools that God has given us which are God's Spirit and His Word  without those tools we will lose every battle, which is why we must always rely not upon ourselves but the Lord our God.

Before I Eat By Christian Comedian Anita Renfroe

No more excuses its time!!!!!!

While I've attended a Calvary chapel, myself but I grew up Baptist but have attended, many different religions, have preached mainly Baptist but, these are religions which have nothing to do with God. for Christ did not speak on religions but a relationship with the Father. Why not focus on that and not which ideology of man is true. For they are faltered. Only God's true word is true.

Stand up Oh Men God for Christ sake

"Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong." (1 Corinthians 16:13)
Many times Scripture compares this life to a battle, with the Christian a soldier warring against the foe. The well-loved hymn of the last century "Stand Up  Oh  Men of  God for Christ our Lord and Savior"
Stand up, stand up for Jesus, Ye soldiers of the cross,
Lift high His royal banner, It must not suffer loss;
From victory unto victory, His army shall He lead,
Till every foe is vanquished And Christ is Lord indeed
.
"My son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. . . . Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ" (2 Timothy 2:1-3), Paul commanded his younger disciple. Among other things, a good soldier of Christ is to represent his leader well, seeing that no dishonor comes to Him or His banner. With Christ as Commander in Chief, the victory is assured, and one day God will "make thy foes thy footstool" (Acts 2:35). "God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (Philippians 2:9-11).
As David the great warrior-king lay dying, he exclaimed, "Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in heaven and earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all" (1 Chronicles 29:11). How foolish not to "Stand Up Oh Men of God

Do you know who you are in Christ ??? Do you? If so then why are many among you the tail and not the head?  Why are many of you living in fear, of failure? Fear of losing your material possessions?  Instead we should be fearful trepidated about losing our eternal soul.  For we can not serve but one master, which master shall you serve?

My Redeemer Lives (Bring it back one more time)

Yes  for those of you that noticed this is a rehashing of devotional already written, and if you didn't notice then either you didn't read it the first time or it didn't do anything for you. Does not matter here it is again. Read it study and believe in him for he is our redeemer.

To redeem someone requires something valuable as a ransom. Silver and gold and precious metal. However, we were redeemed with something even more valuable--the precious blood of Christ.  He is not just a redeemer; he is our kinsman redeemer.

My redeemer lives, Matthew 28: (v 6)The followers of Christ are told he is no longer in the grave for he has risen. Redeemer is define as :  deliver: save from sins or restore the honor or worth of.  Christ did exactly that for you and I. We  are reminded in  Isaiah 64; that our righteousness was like filthy rags. Meaning we needed a redeemer, God choose his only begotten son to be that kinsman redeemer.

In 1st Peter chapter 1 we are informed as to how we were redeemed, knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers,  but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.  He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you and I. Again we needed him to set us free for we were bond by sin and enslaved to it.  Christ paid the ransom for us and set us free when he rose on that 1st day of the week we now know as Sunday we also rose with him.  He made us new creatures in Christ because of his ransom we are redeemed.

He is not just a redeemer; he is our kinsman redeemer. Christ agreed from the foundation of the world to be our redeemer (Revelation 13:8). He came down from heaven as the bread of life (John 6:35). He took on the life of the flesh and was tempted in all points even as we are, and yet did not sin (Hebrews 4:15). He is our elder brother (Hebrews 2:11).
Leviticus 25:47-49 gives us a better idea of what the Hebrew bible says  a redeemer is and does.
Colossians 2:13-14 shows how Christ paid our debt for sin when he was nailed to  to the cross, as payment for our sins.
"And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
"Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to the cross."
Because the redeemer lives then does that not mean that the price was paid? You now have been made righteous before the Lord. Oh men of God stop trying to redeem yourselves through works. Have faith in the Lord your God, that when he said it was finished he meant it.  So rejoice for our redeemer lives and so do we,  with him for eternity.

Wait on the Lord (Learning to be Content with God's Provison)

To wait on the Lord means to be content and patient because we are clinging to God and resting in His love and wisdom. This element of waiting, however, is the most difficult aspect of all for two reasons.
(1) Contentment and patience are difficult because they are so contrary to fallen humanity and how we naturally think even after we are regenerated by the Spirit of God. It takes constant renewal in the Word, fellowship with the Lord, and growth through struggle to change.
(2) Contentment and patience fly directly in the face of the cunning delusion Satan constantly seeks to pass off on the human race, namely, that man does not need God and can find security, satisfaction, and significance apart from the Lord through his own solutions and human wisdom.
To wait on the Lord means learning to be content and patient as we cling to God in a fallen world and rest in His love and wisdom. Key to this is knowing that someday we will be in a perfect world that is everything this world is not.
. Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. 17 For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)
On the one hand, being content and patient means learning to be independent of the things we think we need for our significance, security, or satisfaction in life.
Not that I speak from want; for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. 12 I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. 13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:11-13)
On the other hand, it means learning to cling to the Lord in the midst of a fallen world. It means resting in His goodness and being committed to His purposes and glory no matter how things seem.
Though believers generally recognize Satan’s big lie for what it is—a lie—we still tend to buy into part of his sales pitch concerning his substitutes and strategies for life. And to confuse or complicate matters, our susceptibility to Satan’s system is aided by our own natural God-given longings for happiness, joy, acceptance, love, meaning, and purpose in life.
Though God-given, these longings were never intended to replace our more fundamental and basic longing and need of God. Indeed, our ability to properly experience these longings rather than abuse them (make them into our gods) has always depended on our relationship and dependence on the Lord.
We naturally long for many things such as love, acceptance, purpose in life, food, clothing, comfort, pleasure, and security. And these are all legitimate desires. However, because of our natural needs and desires, we fall prey to Satan’s lies and follow Satan’s strategies (as well as our own) to meet our needs and fulfill our desires.
(1) We tell ourselves we can’t be happy unless we have certain of the details of life—a particular kind of car, or home, or furnishings for our home, etc.
(2) We believe the lie that we can’t be significant and find meaning in life unless we obtain the position we are coveting, unless we are accepted by a particular group of people, or unless certain people respect our opinions. (You fill in the blank.)
When we believe these kinds of lies, we become discontent as Eve was in Genesis 3. Then, in our state of discontent and false belief, we turn from waiting on the Lord to our own strategies as did Eve. We reach into our own little bag of tricks to get what we want. Regarding this Jeremiah wrote:
“Be appalled, O heavens, at this, And shudder, be very desolate,” declares the LORD. “For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, The fountain of living waters, To hew for themselves cisterns, Broken cisterns, That can hold no water.” (Jeremiah 2:12-13)
One of the greatest evidences of our fallenness is our propensity to seek to get from this world what only God can give us. God has given us all things to enjoy (1 Tim. 6:17), but never apart from Him either as the source of our basic satisfaction in life or apart from His direction. Without the Lord, even in the midst of great prosperity, life becomes like parched ground and we end up like a gerbil on a wheel, running, running, running, but going nowhere and facing only discontent and boredom.
To wait on the Lord means to learn contentment with His provision and timing in any given situation through fellowship with God—knowing Him, clinging to Him, and trusting Him.
The Israelites were to be God’s people, distinct, and living under His protection, direction, and provision as they experienced His fellowship and manifested His glory.
(Psalm 106:13-15) shares some insightful lessons from which we can learn much in the realm of learning to be content which is so vital to waiting on the Lord.

Rejoice in troubled times (right yea right I want put on a pity party instead right???)

I will rejoice in the LORD,  I will joy in the God of my salvation.  (Habakkuk 3:18)

Life can be hard, I'm sure most of you say wow did you get your degree at Walmart, cause we have all figured that one out Einstein .  Maybe you have been forsaken by your spouse. Or are struggling
with the death of a loved one. Or facing the constant pain of  disease. Or the loss of a job or business, or in todays economy the loss of home or your 401K. Or, maybe just the daily grind of life.

What can you do? You always have choices. You choose how you respond. With God's help, you don't have to let the problems of life defeat you.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! (Philippians 4:4)
Yes, I'm the first one to tell that when I went through a divorce and all the issues that brought it about, I cried
like a baby, I found no joy in Mudville that day. When my father past away there was no joy, but yet I found joy in knowing that he was in heaven. Yes pain hurts and sucks, bad things happen to people often times with
fault of their own. But we as Christians must use the chances to be hand the feet and perhaps the ear and voice of God to others that are in pain. God uses people to bless people, while each and everyone of us right
is dealing with his or her on issue's but it does mean that we can not be used by God. Rejoice not in your misery or plight, but in the fact that God is not done with you. Step outside of yourself and ask the question what would Christ do if he were in my shoe's. Here's an example hanging on the cross, he asked his heavenly Father forgiveness for those that caused him this great pain, he was concerned for the welfare of his mother, and offered a convict a new home a place of eternal peace. We have not suffered the trials of Job, now those in Haiti certain have more cause to think that they are forsaken, but God has not forgotten them.

Let believers be of one mind, and ready to help each other. As the apostle had found the benefit of their assistance, he knew how comfortable it would be to his fellow-labourers to have the help of others. Let us seek to give assurance that our names are written in the book of life. Joy in God is of great consequence in the Christian life; and Christians need to be again and again called to it. It more than outweighs all causes for sorrow. Let their enemies perceive how moderate they were as to outward things, and how composedly they suffered loss and hardships. The day of judgment will soon arrive, with full redemption to believers, and destruction to ungodly men. There is a care of diligence which is our duty, and agrees with a wise forecast and due concern; but there is a care of fear and distrust, which is sin and folly, and only perplexes and distracts the mind. As a remedy against perplexing care, constant prayer is recommended. Not only stated times for prayer, but in every thing by prayer. We must join thanksgivings with prayers and supplications; not only seek supplies of good, but own the mercies we have received. God needs not to be told our wants or desires; he knows them better than we do; but he will have us show that we value the mercy, and feel our dependence on him. The peace of God, the comfortable sense of being reconciled to God, and having a part in his favour, and the hope of the heavenly blessedness, are a greater good than can be fully expressed. This peace will keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus; it will keep us from sinning under troubles, and from sinking under them; keep us calm and with inward satisfaction. Believers are to get and to keep a good name; a name for good things with God and good men. We should walk in all the ways of virtue, and abide therein; then, whether our praise is of men or not, it will be of God. The apostle is for an example. His doctrine and life agreed together. The way to have the God of peace with us, is to keep close to our duty. All our privileges and salvation arise in the free mercy of God; yet the enjoyment of them depends on our sincere and holy conduct. These are works of God, pertaining to God, and to him only are they to be ascribed, and to no other, neither men, words, nor deeds.

Hold on older Soldier don't you give in, don't you ever quit marching forward in the Lord's Army.

Waiting on the Lord (Involves seeking the Lord)

(Psalm 145:15) The eyes of all look to Thee, And Thou dost give them their food in due time.
(Galatians 6:9) And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.
Waiting means resting in God’s timing and activity while taking care of our responsibilities—the things we can do and should do as set forth in the Word of God.
On the one hand we are to rest and be still. This stands opposed to running ahead of the Lord and taking matters into our own hands and turning to our own human strategies. For instance, when one’s spouse is acting in disobedience to the Word (as it is perceived by the other spouse) the great temptation is to nag and brow beat the other partner with arguments and complaining, etc., but Peter’s direction to us in such situations is far different. Our responsibility is to seek to win them by Christlike behavior while we wait on the Lord to work in their lives, using our testimony if He sees fit to do so.
(1 Peter 3:1-2) In the same way, you wives, be submissive to your own husbands so that even if any of them are disobedient to the word, they may be won without a word by the behavior of their wives, 2 as they observe your chaste and respectful behavior. …
With this in mind, let’s look at (Psalm 37:7)
Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes.

“Wait for the LORD, and keep His way, And He will exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you will see it.”
Waiting for the Lord includes keeping His way or doing what is right. It involves us in positive actions, but biblical actions of faith in God’s goodness and provision according to His promises and His timing. Again this stands in contrast to turning to man’s way or to our solutions which are the ways of death and defeat.

Wait on the Lord (Both the positives and negatives)

When we think of waiting, we might envision just sitting back, not doing much of anything, just waiting for something to happen. But that is not the kind of waiting the Bible is calling for. Perhaps one of the most difficult aspects of waiting is learning to hold the negatives and the positives in proper balance.
Waiting involves a passivity and an activity—negatives and positives—things we should do and things we should not do. These negatives and positives in relation to waiting are closely wound together like the strands in a rope. When wound together properly, they give great strength, courage, patience, and endurance.
As to activity, waiting involves three things:
(1) Things we do—doing the right things.
(2) Things we are not to do—refraining from the wrong things.
(3) Things that happen to us, in us, and for us in the process of biblical waiting.
These three elements are intertwined and can be difficult to sort out as we go through the process of waiting on the Lord, but basically, they involve careful obedience by faith in several biblical injunctions that are associated with the concept of waiting in Scripture.
Note the positives and negatives in this passage which are woven together as part of the waiting process as one trusts confidently in the Lord.
(Psalm 37:7-9) Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret, it leads only to evildoing. 9 For evildoers will be cut off, But those who wait for the LORD, they will inherit the land.
(Psalm 37:1-6A Psalm of David. Do not fret because of evildoers, Be not envious toward wrongdoers. 2 For they will wither quickly like the grass, And fade like the green herb. 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it. 6 And He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your judgment as the noonday.

guess what ???

Resist The Devil (and he will flee)

Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”
And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.  Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. ( Luke 10:17-19)

The devil can have only as much power over our lives as we allow him to take. He no longer has the authority to control our attitudes and actions for his own purposes.
How does the devil roar his way into our daily lives? He does so by way of our thoughts and feelings. He sows seeds of doubt and fear into the ground of our hearts and minds. If he can tempt us to cultivate or nurture these seeds - they will grow into very large weeds. When they do, our Christian life can be greatly weakened, or even destroyed.
There are all kinds of seeds which the devil sows: seeds of doubt, fear, disobedience, greed, lust, jealousy, pride, anger, resentment, self-pity and many more.
He will try to sow the same seed over and over again until some take root and grow. Once the roots grow deep, it's hard to pull the weed out.
The devil will even deceive us into thinking it is a natural part of our life. We then give in and put up with it, even though it may be painful to us - and to others. When we do, the enemy has taken control over that part of our lives, even though he has no authority to do so.
Why oh Children of God do you give away your bread to the dogs??? For what Christ has given which is the authority to resist the devil but yet daily we as Children of the living God found ourselves bowing to his will. He has no authority, I repeat he has no authority except that which you give him.  Stand up oh Children of God, Stand up!!!!!

Waiting on the Lord (Essential Factors)

When the psalmist wrote in Psalm 130:5-6: “I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, And in His word do I hope. My soul waits for the Lord More than the watchmen for the morning; Indeed, more than the watchmen for the morning,” he was comparing waiting expectantly on the Lord to the night guards of the city who watched the passage of time in anticipation of the coming dawn when they would be released from duty. The coming of the dawn was certain, but not without the passage of time. In our “I want it now generation” we must understanding and accept the fact that waiting on the Lord always involves the passage of time just as it does when we are waiting for the news, a special TV program, for a plane to arrive, or for retirement. Waiting on the Lord inevitably means enduring the passage of time, but it means more, much more.
That waiting includes the concept of hope is why the Hebrew word qavah is sometimes translated “hope” or “look expectantly,” and why yacha, which means “to wait” can mean either “wait” or “hope.”
WAITING and HOPING are wound together like the strands of a rope. Let me illustrate:
(1) When you wait for the inheritance you have been promised, you expect and hope the laws of the land will work to make it available to you.
(2) When you wait for the news on TV, you are trusting and expecting your TV to work, and that the station will be on the air and able to broadcast.
(3) When you wait to hear whether or not you have been accepted for the job you’ve applied for, you are not only hoping to get the job, you are hoping your credentials and qualifications are more than sufficient.
Compare again (Psalm 130:5-6)
5 I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, And in His word do I hope. 6 My soul waits for the Lord More than the watchmen for the morning; Indeed, more than the watchmen for the morning.
When we, like the guards of the city, wait for the morning, we are waiting for more than simply time to pass. We are waiting for the sun to rise and day to break, for the light to replace the darkness, and the cold to be replaced with the warmth of the sun.
Waiting involves an expectation of something special. Waiting means anticipation, expectation, confident hope in something that will take place. Ultimately, waiting on the Lord is like waiting on the sun to rise—waiting expectantly for the Lord’s answers to human needs as the sun brings the warmth of the day.
This naturally leads us to our next point and the third strand in our rope which adds more strength:

Wait on the Lord Part II

When we think of waiting on the Lord, there are a number of important questions that need to be answered and understood in light of the principles and promises of Scripture. Why? Because without these answers, we become like a long-tailed cat scurrying around in a room full of rocking chairs. We become fidgety, fearful, frustrated, anxious, and even angry. However, because the Lord tells us to wait, and since it has some wonderful benefits, we need to know what it means to wait and how that is to be done.
Some key questions we might ask are:
  • What does it mean to wait? What’s involved?
  • How are we to wait?
  • Who and what are we waiting for?
  • Why should we wait?
  • How long do we wait?

In the NASB the word most often translated “wait” in the sense of waiting on the Lord is the Hebrew qavah.Qavah means (1) “to bind together” (perhaps by twisting strands as in making a rope), (2) “look patiently,” (3) “tarry or wait,” and (4) “hope, expect, look eagerly.”
The second most frequently used word translated “wait” is yachalYachal means “to wait,” or “hope, wait expectantly,” and is so translated in our English Bibles. The KJV sometimes translates yachal as “trust” as in Isaiah 51:5, but the NASB has “wait expectantly” and the NIV “wait in hope.”

A third word sometimes translated “wait” is damamDamam means “to be dumb, grow silent, be still,” but it is sometimes translated “wait, tarry, rest” ( Psalms. 62:5).
A fourth word for waiting is chakah, “to wait, tarry,” or “long for” ( Psalms. 33:20; 106:13)  (Isaiah. 30:18).
The Old Testament emphasis is clearly on the daily walk and the need to wait on the Lord and His providential care in the pressures of life. As we will see, in the New Testament, the focus is on the promise of Christ’s return. The emphasis, however, in most contexts where the words for waiting occur, is on the impact waiting on the Lord’s return should have on our daily walk.

Wait on the Lord

As you wait on God, be mindful of the written Word of God, and of His spoken word revealed to you in time past: "I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope." (Psalm 130:5) This will be your protection from the deceit of the enemy: "the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God." (Eph 6:17)

Wait for the LORD and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, you will see it. (Psalm37:34)

Can you honestly say when the rent is past due or you have no income, that you can and will wait on the Lord?  If your spouse said they want a divorce, would you go to God and wait for him?

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.  (Psalms 27:14)

To wait on the Lord is to stop all activity, quiet yourself, and focus your attention on Him.
One can see this definition by the context of the word wait. Consider John 5:3:
J"In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water." Imagine the painful, desperate, sickly crowd, longing for healing. They stare breathlessly down into the pool of Bethesda, scanning its smooth quiet surface, straining, focused, waiting for the angelic disturbance. It gives the idea of undistracted focus, total concentration, undivided attention, quiet enduring patience.
When one waits on the Lord one looks intently for communication from Him: "Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors." Proverbs 8:34. Position yourself in spirit so that you can hear God's communication to you. Sanctify yourself, get into His courts, turn from the din and clamor of the world, submerge in His holy presence, and then… wait.

One of the important exhortations of the Bible is the call to “wait on the Lord.” Even though God promises special blessing for waiting, waiting is one of the most difficult exhortations of Scripture. Why is it so hard? Because, as a part of fallen humanity, we are so prone to take matters into our own hands, to follow our own schemes. Yet, over and over again we are told in Scripture “wait on the Lord.”
We don’t like to wait and when we think of waiting we are apt to respond with the pun, “Wait? That’s what made the bridge collapse!” Of course, that’s weight, not wait. But then these two words, weight and wait are not always unrelated because one of our needs in waiting on the Lord is the need to cast the weightyburdens of life on Him.

  • Maybe you are in a job situation that’s really tough to endure and you are waiting and hoping that conditions will change for the better.
  • Maybe you are without a job and waiting for news on an application.
  • Maybe you are ill (or have a loved one who is) and waiting for your health to improve.
  • Maybe you are on a diet and waiting for your weight to drop a few pounds.
  • A single person may be waiting for Mr. or Miss Right.
  • Or maybe you are waiting for your spouse or child to become interested in spiritual things.
The simple fact is, in spite of our modern age and our dislike for waiting, life is full of waiting. And one of the most challenging exhortations of Scripture is “Wait.” But waiting, despite our impatience and our dislike for it, is a vital element in life. Indeed, waiting has a number of benefits that we will discuss in this study.

The Purpose Of Life

No the purpose of life was not for you to be rich or to find the perfect love.

The purpose of life is? To love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind.
God created mankind primarily because He desired to have a
family. In order to truly fellowship with God, man had to have
freedom of choice. Unfortunately, man used his freedom to rebel
against God and fell from fellowship with God.

When man fell he came under the dominion of the devil, because
he followed the devil's suggestion to disobey God. With this
came spiritual death and a new nature which was selfish. Man
became self-centered -- actually worshiping himself by making
every decision based on what was best for him. The result of
this selfishness is evident all around us: horrible misery and
suffering.

God is just and obeys His own laws. Justice requires that
rebellion be punished. To be just, yet allow mankind to come
back into fellowship with Him, God Himself came to earth as the
man Jesus Christ. He suffered a horrible death as the
substitute for all mankind, taking the punishment we deserved
for our sins. Because of what Jesus did, God could justly
forgive all sin, and open a way for all people to come back
into fellowship with God.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)

Jesus Christ Himself is the only way to God. Only by receiving
Jesus can we enjoy the benefits of His sacrifice, which sets us
free from sin and its judgment.

Our life on earth now is testing and preparation for eternity,
to determine our place in God's family. This is not determined
by human beauty or achievement, but by our willingness to
submit to the lordship of Jesus Christ. When we submit to
Jesus, He begins changing us into what He wants us to be.

When you come to Jesus, He changes you inwardly. As you
continue following Jesus and obeying His Word, your inward
change will continue manifesting outwardly, causing people and
circumstances around you to change also. God will continue
working in and through you until you become like Jesus Christ
in your thoughts and actions, as well as your nature.

Its all about Christ

Its not about you! Its not about me!  Its all about Jesus.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (John 1:1-5)  We are told by Christ that he is the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Christ. Remember that Abraham saw the day of Christ, and he rejoiced when he saw it. Moses also with that same faith saw Christ.  Christ clearly states that the prophets spoke of him. John the Baptist spoke of Christ and how that he would decrease as Christ would increase, one mightier than I, said John the baptist, that will come and whom I'm not worthy to unloose the latch on his shoe's.  So from Genesis to Revelation it speaks of Christ, coming, his death, his resurrection and return .  Its all about Christ.

Are you all about Christ?  Are you all about Christ's business?  Are you all about the love Christ? Or are you all about you???

Is It true (Part 3)???

And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. (Luke 16:20-31)

God does not send people to hell. He sacrificed his only begotten Son, so that you and I may enter  in through the gates of heaven. There are only two choices: heaven or hell and he has left that choice to us. To be with him in eternal peace or eternal suffering in hell, the choice is our to make.

"Each time he regained heartbeat and respiration, the patient screamed, "I am in hell!" He was terrified and pleaded with me to help him. I was scared to death. . . Then I noticed a genuinely alarmed look on his face. He had a terrified look worse than the expression seen in death! This patient had a grotesque grimace expressing sheer horror! His pupils were dilated, and he was perspiring and trembling — he looked as if his hair was "on end."
Then still another strange thing happened. He said,"Don't you understand? I am in hell. . . Don't let me go back to hell!" . . .the man was serious, and it finally occurred to me that he was indeed in trouble. He was in a panic like I had never seen before.
"

(Maurice Rawlings, Beyond Death's Door,(Thomas Nelson Inc., 1979) p. 3).

Let remember God tells us in Second Peter that it is not his desire for any of us to perish, for we see in Isaiah that hell was created for Lucifer not mankind. We are told that even while taking  our last breathe if we accept Christ as Lord and Savior we can be saved.  Let no one be deceived hell is real, there is either heaven or hell there is other place. denying does not make it less real.  Accepting that Christ has already paid the price so that you do not have enter hell, is all that is required for you to confess that you need Christ and that you desire to have him enter in your heart and be the head of your life.

Is It true (Part 2)???

Hell is it real ??? The bible says it is, How many times have I heard someone say, "A loving God wouldn't put His creatures in hell." Well I have news for you, friend, God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Know ye not that hell was not created for man? Hell was created for the devil and his angels not for mankind. We are given a choose and we decide to believe and accept Christ as our savior and the only one who can and has paid our sin debt.

(Isa 64:6) But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; we all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.(Rom 3:10) As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one.  People often accuse God of SENDING people to hell but that is as far from the truth as you can get. God has given people a choice. He has thrown the doors of heaven wide open and shouted COME ALL. All who answer the call are welcome. But if you do not want to enter God can not force you. So, if you refuse to spend eternity with God by your own choice, it is you, not God who has determined your eternal future. So won’t you answer God’s call and spend eternity in heaven. The only thing required from you is to accept God’s gift of salvation by trusting in Christ and what he accomplished in our behalf.

Chisel time

When I say I love you (Wedding vows like you never heard before)

Side effects

Our Father's love letter to us

Is It true (Part 1)???

not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

One of the classic problems that people bring up is: How can a God of love send anybody to Hell? Well, there are several answers to that.
One of course is that God doesn't send anyone to Hell. You send yourself there. 2 Peter  plainly speaks about God's desire is that no one go to hell. God has done everything He possibly can to keep you out of Hell and still leave you as a person with free will and not just a robot. That's the way He made us--after His image, after His likeness, the power to say “yes” or the power to say “no,” the power to reject our own Creator, and of course to take the consequences.
Sometimes you hear people say, "God wouldn't send His children to Hell." God certainly doesn't send His children to Hell because when we're His children we're in the family of God. We're born again and part of our salvation includes deliverance from judgment. We're not all children of God except through faith in Christ .
t is folly to expect that you or I can trifle with the Lord Jesus and not have a penalty attached to it. What ridiculous thinking people have in this area! We expect penalties for doing much less. Life is just built that way.
You jump off a high building, the law of gravity will take care of you. You might say, “God is love,” all the way down, but you're still going to get splattered when you hit the bottom! You break the law of gravity, and it breaks you! You may love your little child, but if he puts his finger up on that hot burner on the gas stove or the electric stove, he's going to get burned!
Fire burns. Gravity kills. Water drowns. And you can say, "God is love, God is love, God is love," until you're blue in the face. But water will still drown you, fire will burn you, and gravity will kill you, and sin will damn you no matter how much you say about a loving God.
Bottom line repent, and you shall never taste the fires of hell nor know the pains of eternal separation from God. Don't care how you dress up a pig he is still a pig, sin is still sin. A Holly God can not allow any of us into heaven still clothed in our sin, we must be clothed in Christ Jesus his blood is the only thing that can wash away our sins.  So Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!!! Or hell shall be your new home.

Giving Thanks (For our deliverance)

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

We are to be thankful for everything, thankful always. And of all the things that we might be thankful for, and there are many, the primary point of giving thanks to God for him giving his only begotten son so that we would be redeemed.

Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! (2 Cor 9:15)

Because of Christ's ransom, we have been taken out of the darkness into the marvelous light. We must give thanks to God for our deliverance for without him we would still be lost. He did what we could not do for ourselves.  Sin cost, Christ paid the cost for our sins, now do not be deceived and  think that because Christ paid for you sins, that you can sin all that you desire with no cost to you. Because of he paid for our sins, we are like Paul said we are bond servants.  When Christ died also did we die to sin, so do not give sin power in your life when its power was taken away. Stop letting sin back in the door after it has been locked out.

Where will you spend eternity???

If God were to appear to you and offer  you some Fatherly advice, concerning your walk with Him. What pray tell do you think he would say?

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (Matthew 25:30-47)

On that day it is to late to decide which master you serve, for we see in (Luke 16:13) Christ warns us about this fact and how it will not go well for any man who attempts to serve both God and his flesh.  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44)

Paul referred to himself as bondservant of the Lord, because he saw his only and whole purpose for being here was to do the perfect will of the Lord our God.  What about you???
God is not asking you to sell everything you own and track to some small village in Africa, he might be but not that likely. What he is asking is that we be a living breathing reflection of him to all that we meet.  Stop pondering who to give to and who not too. Trust in the Lord our God with all your heart and soul, for whatever things we do let it be done unto the Lord as if it were him you were doing it for.
For there is only one side we desire to be found on, which is the side where Christ says " well done my true and faithful servant", for then you know that race is won and your journey has ended.  ITs Time!!!          Its now that you decided where you will spend eternity, so which do you choose???
